If you’re not clued in with music theory, have we got good news for you! The Scale function in Ableton Live 11 is a quick and easy way to ensure any chord progressions, basslines, or melodies you have written are in the correct key!

Whilst it’s a very useful tool, we still recommend spending time learning the basic music theory that allows you write music by ear. We think the Scale function is best used as a tool to check your work so to speak; if something sounds wrong in your notation, scale is the easiest way to check what you’ve done!

Since completing the DJ course at AAi Harry has gained a DJ residency at Fat Controller, where he has played alongside international artists such as Yolanda Be Cool, Odd Mob and Rebūke.
