It was a brutal hit that Ben Eckermann didn’t see coming – stopping his football career dead in its tracks. It also changed the trajectory of his life.
Now 37, Eckermann spoke to The Advertiser at the wellness retreat and organic garden he runs with his wife in the southern Spanish city of Malaga, where he has lived for the past 15 years.
