I'm loving life, getting to use my video and photography gear to create stories and memories to build up healthy relationships throughout the community. I'd consider myself a learner in the content space, but I'm enjoying the scripting and storytelling aspect of it. I currently use a Panasonic GH5, Sony VG20, another old-school camcorder, Rode Wireless Go 2, Newer lights, Adobe Premiere and Photos

hop and this keeps me pretty busy! ... I'll spare everyone the extensive list of lenses :). Call me if you want to have a chat about what I can do, and see if we will make a good partnership together.

Onsite with the CCI crew getting a final video promo together, some socials, and a before and after for TikTok of the Black Market Coffee refit.
How lucky am I to be able to do the thing I love - creating content... I love it probably as much as some people love coffee!

Working with the CCI crew to let clients and interested people know what it looks like when we are handed the keys to start redoing a shopfit.

Onsite with CCI this week, we've got another exciting refit coming up while we fine tune the last of our other amazing shopfits :).

We found this piece of “Art” on an abandoned wall as we stepped through the soon-to-be refreshed interior space of our latest . Can our apprentice Will be considered for this age-old question?
We were handed the keys this morning and we’re super excited to get underway on this demo, and tailoring this gorgeous space for our new project.

Taking pics and video onsite with CCI today. No Photoshop needed for Brendan Routley - I think they based the perfecting filter on him!

Another SWEET gig with the CCI group, this time filming a promo at Blackeby's Sweets. GH5, 14-140mm (I still can't get over how nicely this combo catches the product shots - it's a great setup for around $1000).

Am I overdoing it or could I go harder with my wordplay in the Creative Commercial posts?

Either way, this was a blooming awesome shopfit and friendly crew up at Gawler. It was easy for me to find good angles and shots because the whole refit looks great; nice work Brendan Routley.

GH5 with 14-140mm - no lighting needed!

Content Creator TIPS: The ONSITE Series
#2 Smiling Helps
When you are heading onsite and you know you have to work with people, instead of the usual flesh eating robots, furry animals or dusty display cases you're used to, sometimes the best thing you can do when you arrive onsite... is to smile - even if you don't mean it, and you're still upset that your football team lost on the weekend - smiling, and having a bit of a laugh with the person you are about to trap in your camera device, makes them just that little bit more comfortable. Next time you are snapping a perp, start smiling yourself and see how naturally they open their pearly whites in kind.

Created with a Panasonic GH5, 14-140mm and heaps of crows feet.

Content Creator TIPS, The ONSITE Series
#1 Perfect shot"S"
When you are right about to capture that perfect shot, the perfect moment, when all of the lighting and angles align... then someone's child runs up and smooshes their face all over the display glass you have just spent time finding the perfect frame for... wait - that's my kid, classic parenting 101, and classic Content Creating moments!

When you are on-site, be patient, or be proactive. Wait for the people to move out of the shots you are trying to take. But, if you find people do like standing around like a concrete street performer waiting to be paid, perhaps it is time to move on and find a different picture... don't worry - have a laugh and let it go; remember, finding great shots is like finding treasure, you might think "this is the one" or "this is just right", but there are heaps more if you look around, you might even find an even better shot with greater lighting - man, I gotta stop watching treasure movies on Netflix hey!

This clip was made with a Panasonic GH5, 14-140mm... and A LOT of patience (and proactivity). Now, where did those rascal kids put my expensive camera lenses!?

Working with Brendan on the stairs... Don't bump your head!

Working with Brendan on the stairs... Don't bump your head!

Stairs tips #1: Walking Wiggle Room
If you’re planning a refit with stairs, CCI is happy to share with you some of our vital tips to make sure your move up-top has safety set as a priority.

It might not be the first thing that comes to mind, but when people are walking upstairs, they are often thinking about if they might bump their head somewhere; this is particularly the case on a tighter staircase. Although I bumped my head on a fair few staircases when I was a kid, (and apparently I worked out fined)… it is important to leave a little more space in your design in the staircase area to ensure there’s plenty of room for people to move freely without fear of head-banging.

Speaking of head-banging, don’t let the Led Zeppelin Building co. force you into buying a stairway to heaven, instead contact Brendan and the team today to step you through the ups-and-downs of what to consider in the staircase process.

As a content producer, I'm constantly worried about getting the right angles, focus, sound, and of course, lighting... Brendan Routley and the Creative Commercial Interiors team did such a good job on this shopfit that I didn't need to worry about how well the products look under lights - the store looks great!

This was all shot on a Panasonic GH5 25mm and 14-140mm.

From connecting with key stakeholders, to editing in the studio in the wee hours of the night - I loved the opportunity to partner with CCI again and smash out another final promo, this time for the great refit they completed at the Salon Superstone in Harbor Town SA.
GH5, 25mm and 14-140mm

Man I'm a big fan... of my OWN work, ha ha! I'm getting better at creating a tone in each piece, suited to the context / audience. Still more learn'n to do, but I'm excited whilst I'm on the journey.

Shoutout to the CCI team for the op. 👏

Smashing out some more walk throughs with the fit fitout CCI crew.

Sony VG20, 18-135mm

I enjoy partnering with CCI to create stellar promotional videos and whacky copy for their existing fitout clients. This one went not only on CCI socials, but I'll also add it to their CCI website portfolio and Google account to help raise the brand profile.
Panasonic GH5 for this one.

Sooo... this was made with the Sony Electronics VG20 (18-200mm), RØDE Microphones Go 2 setup (and some Neewer lights to make sure Brendan Routley's chiseled face is lit).

Taking some of the clips from Brendan during the Insterstate lockdown, and combining that with the pro photos they had taken, Artlist, PSD and PR came to my aide again :)

Acting as their Social Media and Communications Officer, I have pushed the brand by recreating the logo, setting up social media profiles and spring-cleaning the existing accounts. I have filmed, edited and posted across their feeds, and Brendan and the team are super happy with the results.

Here are only some of the videos I have put together for client refit projects.

Another little ditty with the Creative Commercial team, this time I got to create a 5 minute loop of in-house products advertising the newly finished refit at All That Mobile.

GH5 with 14-140 and 25mm. I also just finished installing / uploading the video for the front window display... whoooopp!

While taking a family trip towards the Flinders, we stopped in to see Jeff and his amazing gallery, and in the process, I ended up redoing his website and taking some videos to update it all for him. You can checkout how I used the videos on his website at: www.jeffmorgan.com.au
