"Health care in Saint Maarten is at its worst in years. If you go to your doctor's office, you wait a long time just to make an appointment with your doctor, and if you like to save your time and the clinic's time, and you phone to take the appointment, either their phone is deliberately disconnected or they don't answer the phone under the pretext of They are very busy.
As for the hospitalIf you want to see a specialist, you have to wait for a period of not less than a month or two, because the doctor does not reside in St. Maarten, and even if he is a resident, you will wait for a long time, dear citizen.
There are cases that cannot wait, and yet the patients of the Dutch side go to the French side for treatment because it is faster and better. There are many people, whom I know personally, who have lost their confidence in the doctors of the Dutch side, and indeed, if they had found someone to employ them in the Netherlands, they would not have come to St. Maarten, and this is a fact."
