Investing is not as complicated as the financial industry wants you to believe. If I could learn to do it with no prior knowledge in finance or investing, then anyone can (and I'm the type that struggles when it comes to splitting a restaurant bill)!

Last year on July 14, 2022, "Wise Investor Middle East" YouTube channel was born.

It tells the story of a regular person who got the "bug" of FIRE, got his wife onboard and transformed his life in the persuit of financial freedom, true meaning, and happiness...
He went on to create a documentary by the same name that featured prominent financial independence figures, including Pete Adeny (aka Mr. Money Mustache), JL Collins, , Brad Barret and Jonathan Mendonsa (among others).

So what is the key takeaway out of this?
Simple: nobody can predict the future, so stick to your defined asset allocation and keep saving and investing as much as you can in a diversified portfolio of low-cost index funds (typically a global stocks ETF and a global bonds ETF).
