From our humble beginnings in 1988, content has been structured very much on a “how to” basis aimed at the average fisherman. Many articles have been published by anglers who are fishermen first, Journalists second. This has provided a varied and interesting content to the magazine which according to our readership sets us apart from other publications, and is the key to our success. Contributions
from all African countries have been carefully included to give a well balanced mix of views and information on world markets, local and international tournaments, specialised techniques and new theories. Environmental issues, conservation and the promotion of Junior Angling are an integral part of our mission statement. Specialised Features on Fishing Destinations, general information on fishing and boating facilities, venues, accommodation etc. are included to inform and assist those adventure anglers looking for something different or unique.
