Revelation 20:12-13
The last and general resurrection
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

*The major question to ask yourself right now is ; Is your name written in the book of Life? *

The two scriptures above show that there is “ A Book Of Life “ and other “books” ( verse 12) where a record of everything we are doing on earth is kept.

I imagine what sort of technology the Almighty God , creator of everything on earth and in heaven, uses to record the events on earth. Just image how this world has advanced in technology and now there is AI ( artificial intelligence) and all that stuff we use for keeping earthly records, be it in audio format or visual. Obviously heaven has the most advanced “technology” if the term can adequately apply, which keeps a record of all the earthly affairs and nothing is hidden from the supernatural eyes of the omnipresent, and omniscient and omnipotent God.

My simple advice today is “ Register your name “ In the “ Book of Life “ Today by simply Accepting Jesus Christ who died for the sins of the whole world. It may sound very foolish indeed but the Bible shows what happens to those who think that the message about the cross is foolish;

The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the learning of the learned I will set aside.” Where is the wise one?

In the studio recording a brass sections for King Isaac 's Jiti song, with Mr Baltmore Mudepo on Trumpert and Sir Arundel Matoi on Saxophone! It was very funny and exciting working with one of Zimbabwe's Best Brass instrumentalists. They had not rehearsed nor heard the song before and l did not even give them a chance to write notes on staff...l simply told them to play by the ear and they did an Excellent Job on the new Song.

The Somandla Ndebele album is a must listen! I enjoyed recording vocals on his 5 tracks and we experimented on new ideas. The music arrangement and instrumentation is Sungura music taking another trajectory. No usual irritating so called “treble”bass but long missed Sungura warm and deep bass that we used to listen to from great bassists like Ephraim Joe or Dendera Music Bassist But in this era, we have great bassists , the likes of Spencer Khumbulani who did the B- lines on Mafia’s music and like l said this album is a must listen coz it breathes fresh air on the Sungura genre. By the way Sungura means ( Katsuro) In Swahili! Kikikiki so l heard! I am one of the people who subscribe to the idea 💡 that Sungura music should now go international and in order for that to happen, musicians should not be afraid to try new ideas and ought to shun the concept of copy and paste of other people’s ideas. Yesteryear musicians sounded different and unique eg @ Leonard Dembo, John Chibadura, Safirio Madzikatire , Simon Chimbetu, Leonard Zhakata, Nyami Nyami or Zimbabwe Chacha Kings etc. it is still possible today!
