#knowyourrights Section 18 of the Consumer Protection Act Ch 14:14 speaks to the Right to Choose and choice of goods or services. Every consumer has a right to choose goods or services of their preferred choice without any undue influence. Even where a transaction is completed, a consumer remains with the right to return goods on discovery that such goods are not their preferred choice.

This was the congratulatory message from the Director General of the Consumers International, Helena Laurent at this morning's breakfast forum on the Consumer Protection Act hosted by CCZ /ANZ at Sango Conference Center. Her message lauded Zimbabwe for joining the league of nations that have consumer protection laws in place.
