Prophet Immanuel Copeland was born , it was after his Mother Locadia Dorica Gaadzikwa (Nee Masango) had six straight miscarriages . He was born as a premature child . As they were still celebrating the miracle of a baby boy after such a struggle . At a very early stage of His life He was attacked by evil spirits and he died.

People gather for his funeral , and his father Goldwater GAADZIKWA who was out with work was told and travelled back to be with the family for the funeral . As he arrived they sat as family organized ever , bought everything required for the journey to Chihota rural areas for the funeral . The first group of mourners travelled ahead as the father mother were still sorting other things before taking off with the body . They delayed till it was late , then decided it’s too late to takeoff let’s delay and do it early in the morning . WAS IT A DIVINE DISTURBANCE OR DIVINE DELAY ???

What then took place that same night is a story for another post , THE NEXT PART WILL HELP YOU UNDERSTAND WHY HIS MOTHER SIBLINGS AND VILLAGE PEOPLE DANCE TO OBERT CHARI’s “Vakamuramba gavamwedzi vakati Haasi munhu mukandei mudanga rembwa, vekumatenga vakati aiwa uyu munhu ndamuda ZISO NGARISVINURE… ZISO riye tinaro pamwana Komana… because it resonates very very well with the well known and documented circumstances surrounding the birth death , miraculous resurrection and life of the Prophet.

Proverbs 16:18, “Pride goes before destruction and a haughty Spirit before a fall.”

Pride is the root of many of the problems that we face. It is, “self-respect or improper and excessive self-esteem known as conceit or arrogance “. Pride can be defined as elevating one`s opinions and thoughts above God`s authoritative Word. It shows its ugly face in many forms, and one of these forms is when you view anybody who speaks anything you don’t agree with as your enemy. Whoever the person is , nommater how helpful , honored , revered, special, elderly , as long as the person doesn’t submit to a prideful persons desires perceptions and all , the person automatically becomes nothing and a nobody to a prideful heart . The person will be defined according to that one instance not according to a life experience. Whatever happened between the two in the past becomes trash non existent and void.

Pride is always right , even against Authorities . Pride is right even in the presence of counsel , wisdom , that’s why pride detests mentorship , fatherhood and accountability . Pride can only be fathered until its will is opposed or until its ignorance is confronted.

Also pride says self even more than Gods principles word or rule . As long as it’s against a prideful heart even the word of God will not be accepted

God is clear about how he views a prideful heart. There are several passages of Scripture that tell us how God views pride.

Proverbs 8:13 says, “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.”

Proverbs 6:16-17 says, “These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood.”

Psalm 10:4, “In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.”

How must we then respond . Humility

“Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.”

1 Peter 3:7 In the same way you married men should live considerately with [your wives], with an intelligent recognition [of the marriage relation], honoring the woman as [physically] the weaker, but [realizing that you] are joint heirs of the grace (God's unmerited favor) of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered and cut off. [Otherwise you cannot pray effectively.]

Hear me and hear me well. This scripture can either WORK AGAINST YOU OR BE USED TO MANIPULATE YOU . Be sure to be genuine with yourself and with your God !!
