•Thru the valley and shadow of death through I stray, since thou art my guardian, no evil I fear.
Thy rod shall defend me, the staff be my stay.
No harm can befall with my comforter near.•

As broken as the lamb is, it has found some kind of solace in the arms of the Savior. We may feel hurt, lied to, broken, hopeless or worthless but no matter how broken we are we can always rely on the Savior, Jesus Christ and His infinite atoning sacrifice for help, support and strength. We are all broken we, we all do need that lift from the Savior.

The trials in our lives can make it difficult to feel connected to the Lord, and we may feel lost, broken, or even upset.

The Israelites experienced something similar while traveling to Edom. They were faced with fiery serpents and had to choose where to place their faith.

Like the Israelites, we are promised "And as many as should look upon that serpent should live, even so as many as should look upon the Son of God with faith, having a contrite spirit, might live, even unto that life which is eternal" (Helaman 8:15).

Where can we turn for peace?

The answer to finding peace is and always has been through Jesus Christ. He is the master healer, the master gardener, the master comforter. It is through Him we have eternal life.

Indifference to the Savior or failure to keep the commandments of God brings about insecurity, inner turmoil, and contention.
These are the opposite of peace. Peace can come to an individual only by an unconditional surrender-surrender to him who is the Prince of Peace, who has power to confer peace.

One may live in beautiful and peaceful surroundings but, because of inner dissension and discord. be in a state of constant turmoil. On the other hand, one may be in the midst of utter destruction and the bloodshed of war and yet have the serenity of unspeakable peace.

, I can forgive.

Jesus forgives. Even on the cross, He asked God to forgive His tormentors. His example can give you the strength to forgive too.

What else can you do ?

The Savior said, “…Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”

We are all children of our loving Heavenly Father. He through His son Jesus Christ has given us what we need to return and live with him someday.
The journey may be bumpy and rough, but He is constantly guiding our steps with His Holy Spirit.

The constant reminder of our place with the Savior and His kingdom can give us solace that when we accept the restored gospel, we shall have peace.
Just as this photo, the Savior wants us to come unto him regardless of our race or nationality. We have a seat at the table.

How do you feel about your place at the Savior’s table?

The Savior is our greatest exemplar and in Him, we learn the best attributes of our mortal life to draw us closer to Him and to our Father in heaven.

trial and adversity we can recognize the difficulties of others.
Moved with compassion, we can reach out and lift them." -Elder Moisés Villanueva

As the candle light illuminates the surrounding while the lady washes the Savior’s feet, we see how big an impact it gives the woman into seeing what she’s doing.
In our lives today, we have candles along the way which can lead us back to the Savior if we would open our eyes to see just as the woman is seeing. Which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We ourselves ,can be the candles along the way, bringing brightness light and hope to the lives of others.

“Let your light so shine before men that they me see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven”
How are you shining your candles along the way?

"Born in a stable, cradled in a manger, He came forth from heaven to live on earth as mortal man and to establish the kingdom of God. During His earthly ministry, He taught men the higher law. His glorious gospel reshaped the thinking of the world. He blessed the sick. He caused the lame to
walk, the blind to see, the deaf to hear. He even raised the dead to life. To us He has said,
'Come, follow me.!

As we seek Christ, as we find Him, as we follow Him, we shall have the Christmas spirit, not for one fleeting day each year, but as a companion always. We shall learn to forget ourselves. We shall turnour thoughts to the greater benefit of others."
