Period poverty remains a critical challenge in Zimbabwe with many women and girls unable to afford hygienic menstrual products, leading to school absenteeism and health risks associated with use of any materials available and inequality.

Africa Hornbill Safaris in partnership with Greenfuel Netball Club and Mission Signs is asking for donations to help alleviate this problem by donating reusable and disposable sanitary pads and other hygiene products, offering sustainable solutions to low-income and less privileged communities. To expand this impact, you can join by donating towards this initiative. Our main agenda is educating young girls and women on menstrual health and hygiene, and making sure they get the right materials to use on their period, contributing to the fight against period poverty.

ᴀᴘᴘʀᴇᴄɪᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ᴘᴏꜱᴛ | Freightzone Logistics

Golden Flyers proudly participated in this year’s Africa Netball Championships in Namibia, marking their second appearance since the inclusion of male teams in the tournament.

The tournament was held from December 9-14.

The team secured bronze.

However, this milestone was made possible through the support of Freightzone Logistics led by Mr. and Mrs. Chiwambutsa, who sponsored all transport logistics for the team to and from Namibia.

Freightzone, are also the proud sponsors of Santa Queens who ply their trade in the Rainbow Netball League.

Additionally, the Golden Flyers received support from another valued partner, whose contribution further strengthened the team’s journey to the championships.

Their combined sponsorship provided the foundation for the team’s successful representation of Zimbabwe on the international stage.

The inaugural Elite 8 Netball Tournament was successfully held on December 8, 2024 at White City Stadium.

Panthers were crowned champions after a 37-19 win over Lethal in the Grand final.

The tournament is set to become and anual event.
