In today's episode of "Portrait," we had the pleasure of meeting a remarkable person named Blessing Bhombo, who resides in the Heart of Hatfield. Blessing has taken on the journey of entrepreneurship by opening his own small market that specializes in fresh vegetables. He takes pride in offering a wide variety of green vegetables to his customers.

During our conversation, Blessing shared with us the reasons behind his chosen path. He explained that selling vegetables wasn't just a random choice but a response to the difficult circumstances and financial limitations he faced. As a young man navigating through life, he felt compelled to find a way to support himself, and the vegetable market seemed like a promising opportunity.

Blessing also shared with us how his entrepreneurial journey has not only provided him with a means of income but has also acted as a shield against the prevalent drug and substance abuse crisis in the nation. He expressed gratitude for the fact that his business keeps him occupied for the majority of his time, leaving little room for temptation or involvement in destructive behaviors. Blessing emphasized that his dedication to his market has not only been about financial survival but has also played a vital role in keeping him focused and away from negative influences. His commitment to his business is not just about selling vegetables; it's about staying grounded and steering clear of the pitfalls that often accompany idle time and aimlessness.
