Although the paper is focused on Chitungwiza it will include news from beyond Chitungwiza and the rest of the world. The Chitown Weekly newspaper is a publication containing news, information, and advertising concerning Chitungwiza. The paper at first will be between 24 to 32 pages on A3 depending on advertising content. NEWS
These comprise of news and information that affect the whole town and se
gments of the town i.e. ZENGEZA, ST MARY’S and CHITUNGWIZA. The section is divided into two parts current affairs and philosophers (wisdom) corner. the current issues will mainly represent opinions of the writer on current events
b. The philosophers’ corner deals with teachings, knowledge and experience. BUSINESS
This section will highlight the business of the world with emphasis on Chitungwiza. This section will be split as the same news section but will include classifieds which are part of the advertising. SPORTS
The emphasis on CHITUNGWIZA sports and the world‘s sport. This section thrust will be ensuring locals are involved in the sports of Chitungwiza and recognize sport as a business. The section will include a sports calendar and log tables of sports of majority interest. IV. ADVERTISING
This will be the main revenue source of the paper. The paper will allow clients to come with their own designs or be assisted by the company’s design team. The company will reserve the right to turn away bogus adverts. The paper will try as much to come up with standard advertising rates but sometimes the customer will have to come in for a Quotation. Chi town weekly will also serve as the public a discussion forum on current issues but this will mainly be done through the website.
