#𝐒𝐌𝐅𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 🕯️ | 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐤𝐮 𝐍𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞

Three members of the Sekusile Sitshikitsha Dance Group tragically lost their lives in a road traffic accident on July 20, while returning from the Chibuku Neshamwari Traditional Dance Festival held at the Mutare Agricultural Show Grounds.

The group, representing Matabeleland South Province and comprised of performers employed by How Mine in Mzingwane District, was involved in a road accident along the Gweru Bulawayo highway. Sadly, three lives were lost.

In a joint statement, the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ), the Zimbabwe Traditional Dancers Association (ZNTDA), and Delta Beverages confirmed the incident.

The deceased have been identified as Ms. S. Mpofu, Ms. I.T. Mike, and Mr. L. Mazara. Several other group members sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.

🚨 DRUG BUST IN BULAWAYO 🚨

Police have arrested a Bulawayo couple 31-year-old Darian Lee Kevin Lloyd Jackson and 32-year-old Lakin Lee Robinson for unlawful possession of dangerous drugs.

Sachets of co***ne and large quantities of dagga were recovered, including strains like cheese cannabis, dosidos, grape gas, and loose dagga. Some of the stash was found in their family vehicle, while more was discovered at their home in West Somerton.
