KLANLIFE is a Zimbabwean All-star music group founded by music producers and song writers who
are signed and affiliated with Hustle XL Music Group. It began as a music movement with composers
and songwriters from South-West Bulawayo coming together and recording music and sharing artistic
ideas. With time it evolved into a collective of artists who made music under the name
KHAZINKLAN. Due to frequent use of the alias ‘KLANLIFE’ the Hustle XL management decided
to use ‘KLANLIFE’ as an official name for the collective. In 2017 a compilation of singles released
by the new Hustle XL signees was released on YouTube and the singles enjoyed fair airplay from
regional stations. In early 2018 KLANLIFE released a single titled ‘VUMA’ featuring Dors.M and
Entumbane native Duo Kasi’s Finest (Maluzing & El Mondae). This song was released mainly to
promote the upcoming EP which was scheduled for release sometime in the summer of 2018. In early
2018 KLANLIFE released an 8 – track extended play cd titled ‘Aksi’Kwaito YiNova’. On August 13
2018 Stiffla and Romeo Small made a guest appearance on Khulumani FM’s morning show Jam-Toast
promoting the EP. During a VIVE interview Mvtt Mxller explained why they titled their project titled
‘Aksi’Kwaito YiNova’ and the musical style of Cowdray Park grown genre called NOVA which was
created by KLANLIFE, stating that even though it may be similar to Kwaito, it was unique in the way
they use the instrumentation and song writing skills. With a new Collaboration with Dignity aka
Toxic_Wolf, KLANLIFE is set to release a new single entitled GUGU MY DALI on the 31st of
October 2021. This relationship between KLANLIFE and Dignity an Afro-pop singer started this year
on the 25th of August and this relationship is set to go a long way.
