*Josephine Janero*, born in 1984 in Harare, started her acting career in 2013. Since then, she's appeared in several films and television shows, including "Kushereketa," "Sometimes in Life," "Love and Jealousy," "Uhangwela," and "The Bridge." She has demonstrated her versatility and range as an actress, taking on a variety of roles and showcasing her talent.

As a child, Josephine always had a passion for acting and storytelling. She would often put on plays for her family and friends, using her imagination to create whole worlds and characters. She says that it was her love for storytelling that led her to pursue a career in acting. Her work is heavily influenced by the people and places of her childhood, particularly her hometown of Kariba and the Shona culture. She draws inspiration from the beauty of nature and the strength of the human spirit. She strives to tell stories that are both entertaining and educative.

*Alphios Sibanda*, an actor and singer, was born on August 8, 1976, at Chikombedzi Hospital. He attended Chemvana Primary School and was active in the junior school choir because of his good voice. He also enjoyed acting and writing poetry. In school dramas, he was often a narrator or main actor. He transferred to Chapfuche Primary School in Grade 5 and completed his Grade 7 there. He then attended Tsungirirai Secondary School in Mazetese, near Maranda. Financial difficulties forced Alphios to leave school without completing his O'level .

After moving to Beit Bridge in 2001, Alphios joined the AFM church in Beit Bridge in 2006. He became active in the choir, choral group, and praise team. His love for African movies inspired him to dream of one day being on TV. Then, one day, he met Shimron Sibanda, a well-known local actor. Alphios admired Shimron and was inspired by his works.

In 2022, Alphios was cast in the Donzvo Entertainment award-winning movie "*The Bridge,*" in which he played the role of Mr. Chinowaita. He also starred in the movie "*Mirira*," in which he played the role of Mr. Nyandoro. He is currently working on the upcoming project "*Kurongerana,*" in which he will play the role of Baba Joe/Reuben.

Alphios Sibanda is a multi-talented individual who has a passion for the arts and for netball. He is an actor, coach, and umpire for netball. He has starred in several films and has a bright future ahead of him in the film industry. Alphios is also multilingual, speaking Shangaan, Shona, Venda, English, Ndebele, and Sotho. He is an inspiration to many and is a force to be reckoned with in the world of entertainment, both on and off the court.

Remembering Brenda Fassie, the Queen of African Pop whose music still lives on.

Brenda was born in Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦 in 1964, where she was raised by her mother after her father passed away when she was two. At a tender age, she started earning money by singing to tourists, while her mother, a pianist, played alongside. Brenda climbed her way to the top, beginning as the lead singer in a group called “Brenda and The Big Dudes”, and eventually branching off as a solo artist.

Brenda became well known for her “outrageousness” on stage and was sometimes referred to as the “Black Madonna”. Some of her greatest hits include “Vuli Ndlela”, “Black President”, “Nomakanjani?”, “I’m sorry Mama” and more. Most of her albums went on to become multi-platinum sellers in South Africa.

She died in 2004 at the age of 39 after losing consciousness at a hospital in South Africa.

Despite all the controversies surrounding her personal life, Brenda was a trailblazer in the African music industry. She was a musical genius who constantly reinvented herself and always gave fans around the world something special to look forward to. More importantly, she was a revolutionary who lent her voice to important social issues in her country and went on to inspire many people. Her impact on African music is undeniable and her work will continue to impact generations for years to come.

Meet Anna Mugomba, also known as Natty B The Beitbridge Diva. Anna is a 28-year-old musician and actress who hails from the town of Beitbridge, Zimbabwe. She was born in Masvingo, in the village of Gutu kwaSerima. In 2015, she recorded her first track, "Zvinoita," which was produced by Dr Beit at Honey Money Records.

As time went on, Anna had the opportunity to work with a number of talented producers, including Geezyan Music, Cymplex, Clef Jones, Simple solid, and Major Terro. Collaborating with these producers gave her the chance to connect with other artists in Zimbabwe and beyond. Through these collaborations, she has gained valuable experience and honed her craft, becoming an even more skilled and versatile musician.

As an actress, Anna was fortunate to meet the talented director Shimron Sibanda, and she expressed her interest in working with him. Shimron welcomed her onto his team and they worked together on the project "Tit 4 Tat," which proved to be a great success. In 2022, they founded Donzvo Entertainment Private Limited, with Shimron as the lead and Anna as one of the directors. Anna is grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing team, and she would like to thank all her fans for their support.

In 2023, Anna won the Best Upcoming Female Artist of the Year award at the Sundrive Arts Awards, a recognition of her hard work and dedication to her craft. Born Bilton Chanakira in Rusape, Star Danger began his musical journey in 2020 while in high school. His passion and talent for music led him to move to Beitbridge town in 2022. In 2023, he was a finalist for the Best Newcomer category at the Sundrive arts awards. In 2024, he auditioned for The Beitbridge Superstar Talent Show and was selected as the winner, earning him the title of "The Beitbridge Superstar 2024.

Star Danger's musical style is a blend of zimdancehall and urban grooves. He is influenced by some of the biggest names in the Zimbabwean music scene, including Jah Prayzah, Winky D, and Soul Jah Love. Siziba Brighton, also known as The Plug, is a 20-year-old rapper from Beitbridge, Zimbabwe. He began his journey into music when he joined his school choir in 2013, and had his first studio session in 2016. He is inspired by South African hip hop artist eMtee, and he creates his own music in the hip hop genre. He was a finalist in the Beitbridge Superstar 2024 Talent Show, earning third place. With his unique style and growing fan base.

So far, The Plug has recorded 13 songs, covering a range of topics and genres. He is constantly working on new material, and he is always looking for new ways to experiment with his sound. He has a growing discography of singles and EPs, and he is working towards releasing his first full-length album.

*Lewis Govha* is a talented musician and actor who has been pursuing his passions since 2011. He first began his musical journey as a member of the band The 6th Apostoles from 2011 to 2016. Born in 1987, Lewis grew up in Mhondoro and is now based in Beitbridge. It was in grade six when Lewis first discovered his talent, while singing in his church choir.

After leaving The 6th Apostoles, Lewis struck out on his own and began releasing solo work. His first album, "Mweya nenyama," was released in 2017, and he continued to release singles over the next few years. His second album, "Matestimony," was released in 2021, and in 2022, he began releasing singles again. His most recent album, "Rutendo," was released in 2024 and features six tracks.

As a committed Christian, Lewis strives to create music that reflects his faith and values. His songs often feature lyrics about God's love, grace, and forgiveness, and he hopes to inspire others to find strength and hope through his music.
