Am Danny Mutale, aged 45 a teacher by profession

I met my ex-wife I 2006 and we married in 2008.
She was a grade 10 school drop out when I first met her.

After we got married I took her back to school (Night School) in grade 10 and I sponsored her till she wrote her grade 12 examinations and obtained 13-points.
I then organised a place for her at Zcas where she started studying ACCA.
I continued to sponsor her till she completed.

Problems in our marriage started after she got her dream job and, unbeknownst to me, she also met her dream Man at the new job.

She started bragging that she was too advanced to date a primary school teacher.
our relationship stalled, and, as much as I tried to make it work, she blew me off and neglected me.
That in turn made me shut down and pull further into myself.

She started coming home late,stopped cooking and started refusing to make love.

Before she was employed, we used to have s*x regularly (at least weekly) and it suddenly started to dwindle (monthly or less).
She used to tell me that she was tired whenever I asked for s*x from her.
Our conversations became boring and she was ever on Facebook chatting and she never used to allow me touch her phone.

Problems continued in our marriage and our families met on several occasions to try to make things work in our marriage but in vain, and in 2020 during a family meeting she finally told me that she has been seeing somebody behind my back (even though I suspected something) but, as she told me about this person,she added that my two kids, ages 8 and 10 at the time, were not biologically mine but for the other guy.

Needless to say, my entire life imploded.It came as a shock.
I used to love these children.
Even though I had issues in my marriage I made sure that the kids were always happy.

I was heartbroken and sad.I couldn't imagine life without the kids.
I then sued her for divorce and the court dissolved our marriage in 2021 shortly after general elections.

Since 2021, I have been dealing with this and have come out of it pretty well due to my faith in God, along with a few great friends and family.

The sad news is that my ex-wife died on 31 January 2022 in a bus accident.
She was among the Nine people that died on the spot after a Higer bus and a truck collided on Great North road near Lwanshimba between Kabwe and Kapiri Mposhi.
The bus collided with the Freightliner truck belonging to Sandhu transport around 05:40 hrs in the morning.

I don't know what happened to the man she cheated on me with but he has since abandoned his own kids.The kids are being kept by their maternal grandparents in Katuba.

When I heard that the kids are suffering I drove to Katuba to check on them and I cried when I saw them. Both girls passed their exams; Meble the 15 year old girl got 428 (G9) and Melody the 13 year old got 746 (G7). Their grandmother said the girls will now stop school because she doesn't have money to buy them even a single book. I really cried for these innocent bright kids brothers and sisters. There are really going through a lot 😭😭
Two weeks ago, i got a few groceries and gave their grandmother some money (K1,200.00) for upkeep and when it was time to leave I had this overwhelming sadness come over me when the kids started chasing after the car I was driving, crying Daddy! Daddy! please don't leave us. Please dad they cried as I drove off with tears in my eyes.

I feel bad and depressed that the kids who once had a normal life are now stranded with no hopes of tomorrow.
