THE LWINDI BAGANDE CEREMONY: A CELEBRATION OF CULTURE AND UNITY

The Lwindi Bagande Ceremony, celebrated by the Tonga people of Southern Province, is a vibrant and culturally rich event that showcases the traditions and heritage of the community. This year's ceremony holds special significance as it will be graced by His Excellency M.R Hakainde Hichilema,The President of The Republic Of Zambia, providing an extraordinary opportunity for the people of Simamba and Siavonga to celebrate their beloved leader outside the official campaign period.

President Hakainde Hichilema is highly adored by the people of Siavonga, and his presence at the Lwindi Bagande Ceremony is eagerly anticipated. The organizing committee of this special traditional event has a crucial task ahead: to extensively expand the transport logistical catchment. This expansion is essential to ensure that even the farthest residents in the district have the opportunity to attend the event and catch a glimpse of President Hichilema.

Under President Hichilema's leadership, there has been a systematic enhancement of access to national funds through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and other social programs. Therefore, this event signifies the importance of the UPND government and it's continued support in upholding the traditional and national heritage. We look forward to enjoying the positive benefits of hosting the President of the Republic Of Zambia.
