National league side trident football club have made changes to the technical bench, George chilufya and former zesco united striker Jackson mwanza have joined the conquerors as head coach and first assistant coach.

The two coachs have signed a short term contract till the end of the season with the Northwestern based side.

Zesco united returned back to the summit of the table following a one nil victory away at Mufulira wanderers Courtesy of a late goal from George Ngoma's 88's minute goal to give zega mambo the maximum three points that saw the Ndola based side edge a very determined wanderers side that had a number of chances in the first 45 minutes of the game.

Yesterday's win saw zega mambo open up a two points at the top of the table behind second placed kabwe warriors who were held to a one all draw away at forest Rangers.

Despite the lose, wanderers still sit on position number 7 with 33 points and next travel to lusaka to face Napsa Stars FC while zesco united will host reigning champions RED Arrows Football CLUB at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Might Mufulira wanderers queens yesterday baptized kabwe Celtic queens by nine goals to nil in a week 19 match of the ZPL women's national league.

Yesterday's huge win saw the Michael Katongo tutored side move to 30 points on the table as the race to win promotion to the elite league hits up.speaking exclusively to Three lines media after the match, wanderers queens coach Michael Katongo expressed how happy he was with the girls performance and that the girl could have scored more than 9 goals looking at the chances they had in the game.

"I have to appreciate the girls for a wonderful performance, they played according to the instructions we gave them,am happy we have scored nine goals but we could have scored more than 15 goals"
