DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN UK, GREAT BRITAIN, BRITAIN, ENGLAND?

A lot of people often confuse England, United Kingdom, Britain and Great Britain. Well, here's the way to differentiate them:

*England* is a country just as Zambia, and its capital is *London* just like Lusaka is the capital of Zambia.

*Great Britain* is a collection of 3 countries which came together as one country and has its capital as *London.* Those 3 countries are:

1. *England,*
2. *Scotland* and
3. *Wales.*

When you include *Northern Ireland* to these 3 countries, they become *United Kingdom* (union of four nations) Viz:
1. England,
2. Scotland,
3. Wales, and
4. Northern Ireland.

That is why it is referred to as the *United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.*
Collectively, the four are taken as one country. And when this is the case, *London* is its capital.

Note however that these four individual nations all have their own respective capitals.

Accordingly, the capital of
Scotland is *Edinburgh*,
Wales is *Cardiff*; Northern Ireland is *Belfast*;
England is *London*.

Ps: Northern Ireland is not to be mistaken for the *Republic of Ireland*. The latter is a separate country. Its capital is *Dublin*.

We have just arrived in Ndola for the flabouyant signing ceremony of the Lusaka dual carriage way tomorrow.

Cabinet Ministers are saddened by the terrible state of roads in Ndola.
This was said when they inspected some selected roads in the district.The visiting minister of infrastructure and urban development Hon.charles milupi was accompanied by our very own MP for Ndola central who is also the minister of Transport and logistics Hon.Frank Tayali and our Minister of copper belt Hon. Elisha Matambo.Other notables on the entourage were the district chairman for UPND Mr. Mudenda and the chairman for Ndola central Mr.Shinkolo.
The Ministers had undertaken physical inspection on Misundu road which leads to Arthur Davis Hospital, the main hospital for the children, the CBD roads,ndeke turn off as well as the infamous Ndola -Mufulira road.
All the inspected roads are beyond repair stage and will need complete overhaul.Hon Frank Tayali even described Ndola -Mufulira road as"former" road because it is not fit to be called a road and everyone was in agreement.
A short term solution on Ndola -Mufulira road was agreed and implemented in collaboration with the Zambia army in order to allow the immediate movement of trucks and people including school children.
Hon.Milupi also said that development of infrastructure at sakanya boarder between Zambia and DRC is underway.
Finally,we are more than convinced that the visit by the Minister in charge of roads (infrastructure and urban development) will yield a positive result towards the pending road projects in Ndola.
We would also want to thank the leadership for facilitating the physical inspection of our roads by the Minister in charge of roads.You are truely committed to the development of our area.

NEW DAWN GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO STRENGTHEN THE PLAN TO PERMANENTLY ADDRESS THE DRAINAGES AND ROADS CHALLENGE.

Yesterday we witnessed the handover of equipment procured under CDF by Hon MP for Ndola central constituency to Ndola city council. The TLB and Tractor will be party of the permanent solution to the flooding that we experience every rain season in MAPALO ward. Indeed CDF is a game changer.

I have a serious concerns that I want to bring to the attention of the party at large. Why is it that we are not being respected when we visit the government institutions. When we introduce ourselves in these offices what we get is hostility. We had an encounter with some institution mearly to find out about the inquiry that was sent to them some time ago. Can the system start realizing that we are the people who matter most for the struggle we rendered to bring this government to power.
