DEDICATED TO EVERY BROKEN SOUL OUT THERE
When people endure some form of hardship, or some form of heart ache, they are pushed to their lowest, they find themselves in an ocean so deep that they even struggle to keep their heads above the waves.
During this weakness, the devil comes out to play. The devil comes to them, and pleads with them to sell him their souls. Because Shaytaan knows that at this moment of weakness, if they submit themselves to him, they'll struggle to get out of this state of drowning.
But you must know. You must know your worth. You must know your value in the sight of Allah. It doesn't matter how low you're feeling. It doesn't matter how lonely you get. Don't give in, don't let Shaytaan win. Because the devil loves a lonely believer, a sad believer. And when he grabs hold of such a believer, he digs his claws in deep and holds on firmly.
The reason for this is because a weak believer will do just about anything to gain some form of satisfaction with himself. If he's feeling sad, lonely, hurt or even betrayed, due to such feelings he will go to the extent of opting for something haram just remove the void, just to remove the feelings which he feels. But of course it doesn't work and so he goes around in circles until he gets fed up of himself, and tires from trying to get back on to his feet and so shaytaan drags him deeper and deeper in to ghaflat (heedlessness.)
And this is exactly why we as believers must know our worth. We must know that our emaan is what makes us valuable in the sight of Allah. Our emaan makes us a target for the devil. We have to protect ourselves and remain vigilant, because we hold something precious, something valuable and shaytaan wishes to rob us of it, of our emaan.
During your weakness and grief know that it's okay to be sad, but learn to turn to Allah with such sadness, and have hope in Him to expel it because none other than He can expel sadness and replace it with ease.
Just know not to give in to shaytaan, you're not a toy, you're not to be played with, so don't allow shaytaan to make a fool of you. You deserve better. You're worth so much more. And Allah knows it. So you should know it too.
