Its funny how certain Musicians always complain about Dj’s playing foreign content when they dont support the Dj’s….I was tagged in CQ’s DJ’s are FONTINI’s video and this is my response to him…

#1 :Dj’s have done alot of work on the ground…Only a few places dont play Zambian Music now otherwise our local content is being played everywhere which means we are doing the most…So before you complain learn to appreciate the good work we have done so far

#2 :Majority of Artists dont support Dj’s,the only time you remember us is when you have new music and in most cases you dont even have the courtesy of even greetings us before forwarding your music on whatsapp….If a Dj reaches out to you they are often left on blue ticks….You dont even help share our content on social media…After all this you still have the AUDACITY to complain?Can you be serious

#3 :Stop looking at Dj’s like we are your fans…We are your partners period!!!…You need us and we need you its that simple..

#4 :This tendency that you have of comparing us to Dj’s from Nigeria or South Africa must come to an end…Those guys have made sure to put Dj’s in strategic positions and thats why in those countries Dj’s are household names…Most international acts have personal Dj’s…Can you tell me 5 Zambian artists who have stage Dj’s?You cant right? In Zambia a musician would rather go to a show with his drunk friend who has a USB of the artists poorly arranged music instead of getting a good DJ….Can you be serious

#5 :Before you compare your son to your neighbour’s son make sure you provide your son with the same opportunities your neighbor provides to his…If you want change…start taking steps in the direction of change…..

CONCLUSION :To all the artists that have been supporting Dj’s i salute you….Keep up the same spirit…I end here….
