Two young people were attacked by unknown people in Goma Fields. One was Mwila Mwila, aged 27, working at Davies and Shirtliff who was cut with knives but survived. The other, Oscar Masaiti, aged 25, a 3rd year student from Levy Mwanawasa Medical University who was stabbed to death.

This all happened around 23:00hrs yesterday, when the duo were on their way home(Hellen Kaunda) from Arcades. According to the statement given by Mwila Mwila, the survivor, the duo decided to use Goma Fields to find their way home when they met six people in the bush area of Goma fields who eventually attacked them.

This is a sad occurrence indeed!

Unza Security pleaded with me to inform the student populace that we avoid finding ourselves in unsafe places during awkward hours. Let's stay safe!

SAD PICTURES FROM FUEL TANKER EXPLOSION

A Fuel tanker which was carrying 45 000 litres of Petrol exploded on Lusaka's Mungwi Road.

Reports indicate that before the explosion, some residents were spotted syphoning petrol from the leaking tanker which had parked.

And when it exploded the unfortunate happened as Five Men got burnt in the inferno.
