KALUSHA BWALYA GLORIFIES LATE CHIPOLOPOLO MANAGER KAMWAMBI

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Manager Lusekelo Henry Kamwambi. His unwavering dedication and passion for football will always be remembered and cherished.

I first encountered Lusekelo in 2003 when he served as the Manager of the Zambia U-23 team, during our inaugural trip to Algeria for the 2004 Summer Olympics Greece qualifiers. I was there in my new capacity as Technical Director and Coach of Chipolopolo. I was captivated by his endless football stories and the rich history he brought to his role, which ultimately led him to manage this team.

I extend my heartfelt wishes for peace and comfort to the greater Zambia Football family as we mourn the loss of one of Zambia's longest-serving football managers.

You inspired us with your extensive knowledge and passion for not only local football, but also as both a fan and an administrator in the sport.
Your commitment to your duties was remarkable.

The tremendous effort and sacrifices you made for the success of Zambian football are truly commendable and serve as an example for all. You were destined for this role, which is why the 2012 Africa Cup winners' trophy felt like the perfect culmination of your hard work.

The joy you brought to our daily interactions during our time together was a true delight.

Farewell, my brother, friend, and manager.

May God provide counsel and strength to the Kamwambi family and friends during this challenging time.

May your soul find eternal peace.

NKWETO TEMBWE WROTE...

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOYS ✅️ ✅️ ✅️ ✅️

THE TECHNICAL BENCH AND ✅️ ✅️ ✅️ ✅️

THE✅️ ✅️ ✅️ ✅️ FANS.......

BUT NOT TO YOU!!!

June 19, 2023.

Lusaka.

For 8 years, you said AFCON Qualification should not be a measure of success for an FA..... When some of us spoke, you labelled us Saddists who do not understand football..... you asked us to "move on" and swallow our bitterness.....
..and you added "It's pointless to qualify when you know you can't win the tournament"

Now that Chipolopolo has qualified, you are running all over like headless chickens demanding that We congratulate you....No, we shall only congratulate the boys that have wanted it so much for 8 long and painful years......

Because of your mediocrity, you divided and obliterated the winning spirit for Chipolopolo, justified the purging of players like Stopilla Nsunzu...... today, you want to celebrate a benchmark you rejected, be consistent, ba Yama!

And by the way, Zambia has previously qualified 17 times to AFCON, Won it Once, reached the finals Twice and gotten bronze 2 or 3 times.....

You may also need to know that the current regime has a record of having achieved the longest absence by Zambia from AFCON, since 1974, when Zambia made its maiden appearance at Africa's biggest football Bonanza ⚽️.

And while still talking about absence, here are the sad facts....

1. When Zambia first qualified, the tournament only had 8 finalists......and this went on for a long time, and Zambia was always among the 8........

2. Later, CAF increased the total of finalists to 12, and Chipolopolo had no problem.......

3. Later, CAF allowed the finals to have 16 finalists..Chipolopolo was always there...

4. The last two editions that Chipolopolo has missed had 24 teams......and we had praise singers saying it is okay to miss.

To the boys, I say congratulations......

To the Technical Bench, I say......

"Well done." Thanks to you, the cheap gibberish of saying Zambia has no talent and is not a footballing Nation, may now be taken to where it belongs......kuchishala, the dump site... and in the minds of those that believed the lie!!!

To the Executives, I still remember when you reminded Zambians that you are not on the pitch and, therefore, should not be blamed for any loss.

On Saturday, I looked at the lineup, and I didn't see any executive member listed. So my congratulations will 🎊 only go to those whose names were on the official CAF Team sheet.

One more time, ba Zambia ba Chipolopolo, congratulations, I will be in Ivory Coast to cheer you on....
