Greetings fellow applicants
I am sure we are all aware it’s clocking almost 4 months since the inception of this endless recruitment process characterised by inconsistent statements and numerous extensions and to date,we still do not have the promised publication of successful candidates. The last update concerning the publication date,indicated that 20th-24th June,2022 is the period by which we expect the list to be released. In this vein,should the list not be published by Friday this week,it is justified to seek answers from the ministry of health so that they can explain reasons behind this prolonged delay in a simple language we can all understand not essays.
As unemployed Drs who are also applicants like everyone else,we are urging you to rise to this occasion for a peaceful March to MOH Lusaka offices next week should the names not be published this Friday. I must emphasize that we need to work together as health workers to achieve tangible results. As educated people who are informed,we should evaluate before we either hold government accountable or commend them where they perform excellently. If we support everything blindly,we are the people that still pay the price by glorifying wrong things.
We are therefore,inviting everyone affected to be part of this noble cause and not complain that Drs are seeking answers alone it’s because we have seen the need. In this spectrum of the modern world,we need to unite and put efforts together to achieve common goals in place of feeling disadvantaged whenever critical issues arise. Stand ready meanwhile,all proceedings and relevant communication of the event will be shared in good time through representatives of various professions.
Ladies and gentlemen,we are better off having the list now because it is long overdue so that we can plan ahead. The psychological distress and anxiety to which applicants have been deliberately subjected to is unacceptable and overreaching.
