TASILA LUNGU NOW A WANTED PERSON - DEC

The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has disclosed that Tasila Lungu, the daughter of former president Edgar Lungu and Chawama member of Parliament, is now a wanted person.
DEC Executive Director Nasson Banda addressed the media, stating that the legal representatives of Tasila Lungu have been in communication with the commission, but progress has been slow.
He emphasized that delays in the process can lead to a denial of justice.
Banda reiterated the commission's commitment to pursuing investigations without bias, clarifying that they are not targeting any opposition members specifically for drug-related offenses or money laundering.
He says the commission is determined to hold accountable those who have allegedly committed crimes, asserting that they will act without fear or favoritism in their efforts to uphold the law.
