Why does he keep winning awards despite being so inactive in music? Is the question many people have been asking.

Here is my opinion.

I think it’s not about being active at the current time but what you did when you had the opportunity and the chance.

Secondly, good art is like wine, it becomes switter as it ages.Muzo’s music is different from this bubble gum music we are listening to today which goes with the trends.Where a song only lasts for two weeks and it’s done.

Good music will stand for a long period of time.one good example is the music of the late PK chishala and the late PJ which still plays and tops chats despite being old.

The music muzo did between 2013 and 2016 is something that hasn’t been outshined by any local artists because the poetry, the thinking and the writing was on point.

Most of todays artists will never be remembered once they stop doing music because a lot of them don’t even think nor write their music hence producing Bubble gum music.

Put Muzo in Any category and see how he shall fare despite not being as active as he is expected.Muzo worked in advance and it’s time to reap off what he planted.

Muzo is a generational talent, one that only comes after 50 years and I don’t know how long it shall take us to replace him.

Just give him his flowers when he is still alive ❤️

In fact, stop categorizing his as a northern province artist coz he is way bigger than being a provincial artist.
