This is the worst leadership since the colonial masters-HH

UPND President, Hakainde Hichilema says Zambians only have one country therefore they should all get involved and take charge of their destiny.
And Mr Hichilema says that he is committed to restoring law and order immediately he is ushered into State House after 12th August, this year.
Addressing marketeers, small scale and medium entrepreneurs and tax/bus drivers from Central, Copperbelt, Luapula, Eastern and Northern Provinces this afternoon, Mr. Hichilema reiterated that once in office, the UPND will create an enabling business environment to support the various businesses in the country.
He also bemoaned the unprecedented levels of poverty in the country, saying he has never witnessed such levels of suffering in his entire life.
“This is the worst leadership since the colonial masters. At my age, I have never seen the people of Zambia suffer the way they are suffering [now]. This BOMA is worse off than the colonial regime. That is why we need change,” said Mr Hichilema.
Mr Hichilema says the PF is trying to use the ‘draconian’ Cybersecurity Bill NAB2 to gag citizens and stop them from using internet services.
He says no media house will be shut and that political interference in the operations of the media would be a thing of the past immediately he is sworn in.
“No media house will be shut down during our tenure in official. One of the laws we are going to reverse is the cyber security Bill. I don’t whether Mr Lungu is going to sign the Bill, though I know he will. They want you to stop using internet. This is the channel we are going to use to deliver health care to our people. We will use technology to deliver services to our farmers. Our duty is to use internet so that when there is an accident drivers can easily notify the insurance company to come to their aid,” said
He has since promised a week-long mobilization tour of the Copperbelt.
“I want thank our colleagues who have travelled all the way from Copperbelt, Northern, Southern and any other part of the country who have joined us this afternoon. We want to thank you for coming here. I want to assure you that I will be coming to the Copperbelt and I will be spending a week there,” he said.
Speaking during the same event, UPND SG, Batuke Imenda said that the the party had chosen to invite marketeers and drivers from the Copperbelt was as a result of the party’s resolve to bring everyone on board as the country goes to the polls on August 12th.
He also called on members of the UPND to go out in the field and mobilize voters, adding that his office would not allow party members to be lazy.
UPND Taxis and Buses Chairperson, Mr Mutale who led the Copperbelt delegation comprising marketeers and drivers from the constituency, district, and provincial stated that
Meanwhile, Gilbert Liswaniso, who is the UPND National Youth Chairperson, has called on UPND youths across the country to be alert and defend president Hichilema in an event that the Police moved in to arrest him over the Kalomo saga involving the Hatembo family.

Wow!! Hot fm 🔥is really hot for Mutale Mwanza!!

24th February 2021

Dear Ms. Mwanza,

It is with profound regret that I must inform you that management has decided to terminate your employment with Hot FM with immediate effect.

We find your brand to be seriously in conflict with the Hot FM brand and values and can no longer allow this trend to continue.

Your latest antics are, in our view, highly disrespectful, unprovoked and unconscionable considering that they were targeted at an elderly national leader. It literally amounts to cyber bullying and we do not condone such in our values and principles.

We believe we have cautioned you enough in the last few months regarding your public conduct and warned you against dragging our brand and company down to your level.

Time has come to part company with you and we wish you well in your future endeavors.

Regards
Oscar Chavula

KING MAKERS DON'T LOOK LIKE KINGS.

A friend told me this personal story of his. I'm sure he will remember if he comes across this post because he is on my friend's list.

His words..... Many years ago I was working as a clerk at a faculty in one popular university in Nigeria, then I saw an advert for NDA (Nigeria Defence Academy), I have always loved to go to NDA so I applied, submitted my form and was called for admission examination.

I had to travel to Kaduna all the way from Osun State, I have a distant uncle that was resident there then, I wrote a letter(no telephone) to my uncle that I was coming to sit for an exam in Kaduna and will love to stay in their house.

I didn't get a reply to my letter even as my departure date was approaching. I became so worried because I needed to go anyway, as I was talking to a colleague in the office concerning my fear of where to stay, our office cleaner who was a Hausa man overheard us and in his broken English interjected that he knows someone right inside NDA.

Who could he know there, is it not a cleaner like himself, I unintentionally said it out to his hearing.
"oga no o,the commandant op za NDA na ma classmate and ma priend".
In his bad handwriting, he scribbled the comandants name on a piece of paper.
"Just mention my name por am, him go helf you".

I reluctantly collected the paper from him, not because I intended to make use of it but because I didn't want him to feel bad.

The next day I set out on this long journey by train from Osogbo, I got to Kaduna the next day towards evening, upon getting there,I went straight to my uncle's house only to find out that they have relocated from that place and no one knows their new address. I became stranded and it was getting late.

Around after 7pm, I made up my mind to give my cleaner's contact a shot, I got to the gate of NDA and mentioned the name I was given, to my utmost surprise, everyone in that bit, recognized the name and one person was promptly detailed to take me to his office.

I gave the paper where kabiru wrote his name and that of his friend to the secretary who took it inside, on sighting the paper, the commandant shouted from the office and followed the secretary outside to usher me in. "where do you know kabiru? He's my colleague in the office sir," I answered.
Where is he, how is he, hope he's doing well? This man was asking me many questions in an obvious excitement.

The look on his face confirmed to me that kabiru was his beloved friend. He asked me what I came to do in Kaduna and I said it was for the NDA exams. Wow, do you have where to sleep? No, sir. He immediately called someone to take me to his house. On getting to the house I was lavishly entertained.

This man came late in the night and he woke me up and took me up on tutorials for the next day exams. After the exams he personally drove me to the park the next day.

When I got back to the campus, I began to look at kabiru with a different eyes, how on earth will this man know such a powerful person?
Needless to say that my name was number four on the list when the results came out.

Friends, I put it to you today that relationship is a currency. Every man needs another man to move up and that man may be the neighbor you look down on, may be the taxi driver you so despise or even the house help you think is a nobody today.

Relationship is a stream of income, everything in life actually reproduces on the basis of relationship. Those we know in life matters. Most of us are talented but we need a cup bearer that will tell pharaoh that there's a Joseph that can interpret dreams.

There are some heights you may never get to in life until someone tells someone about you. So shut the door of relationships gently, you may need to use it tomorrow.

Let us endeavour to take our relationships seriously, even if you meet online, don't look down on anyone. You never can tell which of the relationships is your own key to success.

Sometimes those who crown kings don't usually look like kings.

WIZARD FREEDOM SIKAZWE PLOTS MORE EVIL.

By State Staffer

The sacking of Dr Chitalu Chilufya as Minister of Health has exposed serious infighting in the Patriotic Front and Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe has emerged as another powerful force in the party.

Mr Sikazwe has been positioning himself as President Edgar Lungu's running mate or even takeover the party presidency when the courts stops Lungu's plans for an unconstitutional third term bid.

Koswe, who has spent this weekend in the State House drawers has learnt that Freedom "Sangoma" Sikazwe has managed to put his relatives in positions of influence and power such as Zambia Intelligence Services (Office of the President) Director General Hector Sikazwe and Zambia Army Commander Major General Sikazwe.

Mr Sikazwe's only obstacle has been embattled Chitalu Chilufya and his the Luapula United team.

Sources have revealed Sikazwe is the one spearheading calls to abandon the PF convention for fear of Dr Chitalu Chilufya's influence in the PF.

Sources say Sikazwe is now pushing for the speedy prosecution and conviction of Dr Chilufya and if this scheme fails then Dr Chilufya might even be assassinated before the PF convention.

Sikazwe is said to have already met PF-aligned magistrates and judges who will condemn Dr Chilufya.
Sources have further said Sikazwe has become the most feared figure at State House following the sidelining of Kaizar Zulu as Zumani Zimba is merely receiving instructions from him.

Sikazwe has been heard boasting that he receives daily intelligence briefings from both the Zambia Army and the Office of the President before Lungu sees them.

Let the Students sit for exams, pleads HH

Yet again, the UNZA administration is refusing to allow students to sit for their final exams due to unpaid fees. We believe that education is a right and not a privilege. As such, we must pursue an amicable compromise that enables our students to progress.

The PF government are well aware of the economic hardship and the difficulty that our people face to even have a day of balanced meals. In view of this, we must exercise compassion and allow our students to write their exams and give them time to pay before they are eligible to graduate.

As we have stated before, UNZA's perennial problems have been left unattended for far too long and they won't go away unless and until the PF systemizes allocation of public resources to core areas such as education of our youth.

We repeat, UNZA students must be allowed to write their exams and the PF must redirect the resources that they lavish on political campaigns and bribing people, to resolving the financial problems at the University of Zambia.

We further wish to reiterate our long held position as UPND that when elected into government, all deserving students especially those from poor families will be granted Bursaries and no one will be turned away from writing exams on account of not paying their University fees.

The UPND will ensure that education is once more a core priority of government, and in that regard will reintroduce meal allowances and expand and enhance Bursary opportunities to all tertiary institutions, to ensure growth in human capital for the betterment of our communities.

Our children are the future and our investment in them is what will determine whether the future will be bright, or not.

Let the students write!

*HOW HARASSMENT DRAW SYMPATHY FROM PUBLIC AS I MET HH IN SHOPRITE TODAY.*

By: Dr. Edgar Ng'oma~ Philosopher.

25th December, 2020

Today around 11:30h on this Christmas day, I went to Lewanika shopping mall in woodlands where Woodlands stadium city of Lusaka football club is situated, I found myself in Shoprite to buy bread, who do I see near me on the opposite counter as I was tendering my bread to the tiller? It was UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema also tendering his grocery waiting for his turn to pay.

Then , as respect to our leaders , like I always do and like I have always done other times in the past when I have met HH, I exclaimed,

" How are you Mr. President?"

And in surprise he replied back without not being sure who was greeting him , I relaxed my mask from my face so that he sees my full face, while he had his mask on,

" Aah ndimwe A Ngoma? Tili bwino muli bwanji a Ngoma? " he replied as he almost reached his hand in white gloves to greet me, half way he quickly withdrew his hand , because he realised he must keep social distance and no contact.

He continued, " Onani a Ngoma aba banthu bayamba kuti paya ! Complained HH to me.

In response I said, " limbikilani chabe vinthu siku lina vizankhala bwino, si munaone ise na President Sata vamene tina pitamo"

( I said just be resilient, one day things will be fine, did you not see how we and late President Sata went through? I encouraged HH.

At this point one of his body guard security was hecking me with his elbow to my elbow as I also in a friendly response touched his elbow with my own elbow, and in a whisper to me he said muli bwanji a Ngoma(how are you and how is your young brother Buyzed Evan's? ) and ended me by thanking me for the kind advice to his President.

OBSERVATION : THE ATMOSPHERE IN SHOPRITE AS SHOPPERS SAW HH TODAY ON CHRISTMAS.

This is the very reason that has compelled me to write this article. The excitement that engulfed the shoppers in shoprite was amazing, what the shoppers were whispering to each other was really amazing, those whispering to each other were saying ;

' "iwe, wa ba wona ba President?very excitedly,

While others who opted to loudly speaking screaming, " imwe bonani ba President abo ! ( in whisper, you look at the President, and those that speak with loud voices said, people look at the President!

The atmosphere in shoprite today was explosive from onlookers and shoppers. Then quickly after my purchase I quickly found my way out of the shot and left HH on a counter still tendering his grocery.

As I walked out out the building, my mind went into memory lane mode, and I quickly remembered how I used to run in and out of Mr. Sata's house on Omelo Mumba road from 2002 up to 2011, each time I rushed there , it was to assure him that all was well, this would be after several harassment security wings in the Levy & RB led MMD government.

I would scientifically explain to Mr. Sata that the more the police, DEC and ACC summoned him, and the more his cadres and supporters were harassed by security wings, the more the public who are the voters would greatly sympathise with him and his party.
I would encourage him that unfortunately that was the positive benefit he would earn in exchange for the harassment he was subjected by security wings. I encouraged him to remain resolute and focused in his vision to form government as such things were part of making him strong as a leader.

I remember going to his ( Sata's ) home on Omelo Mumba one day after he (Sata) issued unprintable against Chanda Chiimba the 3rd who continuously in series of broadcasted on ZNBC disparaging insults against him in a program he dubbed stand up for Zambia, sponsored by MMD, Mr. Sata in anger reacting to these infamous documentaries he called Chanda - "Chimbwi" ( he called him Chanda hyena) to which I quickly rushed to his home to REPRIMAND him in strongest terms.

I said to Mr. Sata, " Mr. President, I have come to advise you to retract your unprintables against Chanda Chiimba the 3rd, the reason for this withdrawal of your statement is that while I appreciate that you issued the statement in anger because of the insults Chanda has been hurling towards you continuously, however, as much as these unprintables against you are very annoying, they have a positive aspect as in regard to get you a sympathy vote in the coming election. The publicity by Chiimba disparaging you is not only annoying to you ,but annoying to most of the voters who feel for you , the voters are als angry with the MMD who have been sponsoring Chanda Chiimba with his infamous broadcast .

Mr. Sata at this point would be paying a lot of attention to me, looking at me straight in my face , as he held both of his hands to his chin resting his hands on his knees as he listens to me passionately giving him wise counsel , to ensure that he does the right thing to enable him win the election ahead of him.

I continued and said to him," I am kindly asking you to issued a statement to the media and tell the public recommending Chanda Chiimba for being a good campaign manager for you and your party PF, and that you would like to encourage him to continue with the stand up for Zambia campaign " as opposed to insulting him because it will be difficult for people to differentiate between the two of you, if you are lured into insults as doing so would make Chiimba's documentaries truthful and justified.

Because by this time Mr. Sata had developed and grown so much faith in my tested advisory role,in response to my advice he said, " You know what ! The way you look at things is very unusual, what you have told me is the right thing to do , though very painful, I will do it because it is the right thing to do against how I am truly feeling " said Mr. Sata.

Story short, Mr. Sata the following day called the press, and issued the statement I advised as above and those of you who can remember will attest.

In conclusion, all governments anywhere else in the world have a responsibility to maintain law and order, however, in maintaining that law and order and for fear of losing power by those in leadership of that government, in trying to prevent losing power to the opposition political party, they instead become obsessed and in the end , in desperation they would want to find cause to prevent government take over at all costs by finding anything that can disadvantage the opposition from taking over power, in turn they would unfortunately be seen by the general public that they are being vindictive to the opposition leaders although it might be true that those opposition leaders might have truly committed those crimes. It is not the same summoning a leader of the main opposition political party and a person like me or JK and General Kanene. Just summoning HH the police must know that they have in disguise summoned over 6 million Zambian citizens.

For example the traffic offence against a presidential motorcade which happened in Western Province a few years ago in 2016 when HH motorcade did not obey the traffic law instructions to lay off whenapresidential motorcade was passing, he ended up in remand prison for 127 days.
Had I been advisor to the President at the time, I would have given advice not to take the action the police took for obvious reasons, that the public court of opinion would label government as being vindictive, when infact not , the police has the duty of protecting the head of state safety from any harm that was going to come from the opposition leader not obeying the traffic law to lay off the road each time a Presidential motorcade was passing, this is a common practice world over. In some countries the opposition leader's motorcade tyres were going to be shot at by the security in the presidential motorcade.

In life I understand that certain things are predestined and preordained to happen in an a seemingly organized manner to neccessitate a particular outcome whether favorable or unfavourable to whoever.
Like it was the case fortunately for Mr. Sata and unfortunately for RB Banda and MMD government, that the harassment of Mr. Sata was a blessing to PF , but a sad outcome for the MMD government, loss of 2011 election.
This is unfortunately how fate and predestination work.

Therefore, as a political analyst and Philosopher, my advice to our government is that before you contemplate bringing opposition leaders of different political parties to book to account for their past sins against the state, weigh heavily on how whatever you want to do would be perceived by the public court of opinion, because not reality and truth matter to the public but how each action will be perceived by the public that matter in politics.

Laura Miti writes.....

Tomorrow President Lungu shares his economic recovery plan.

My take is that, unless it includes investigating who has stolen the billions set out in the Auditor General's and FIC reports of the last few years, prosecuting them, and getting as much of the ill-gotten wealth sitting with the powerful back, then the President might as well keep quiet .

Our economic problems are entirely created by those in power.

We have had no war, no earthquake, no upheaval. We also have had a government in place.

We are here only because that government borrowed money we did not need, then it was largely stolen by the same people in high office leaving a big hole in the fiscus.

For evidence of this, read the AG's and FIC reports, if seeing Ministers who got filthy rich miraculously is not enough, that is.

We do not need to hear about GDP, austerity shani shani.

Just end corruption as a competitive sport in high office, and get back our money from those who already took it.

Will be listening tomorrow.

MINISTER CHILUFYA IN ANOTHER FINANCIAL SCANDAL, THIS TIME WITH PIVOT SIMWANZA

Zambia Today

Take interest in the corrupt practice that is going at the Ministry of Health (MOH) involving Minister Dr Chilufya Chitalu and his crony cadre by the name of Pivot Simwanza of Ndola.

This year the Minister of Health pushed through two Purchase orders or a Contracts in favour of a company called SUWILE GENERAL DEALER LIMITED and BRISUMAS INVESTMENTS LIMITED.

These companies are owned by Pivot Simwanza, a grade 9 failure, former ball picker boy for Kabwe Warriors FC , staunch Kabwe Warriors FC drum cheer leader and a kit master for the disbanded Rail Express Football Club of Ndola.

This is the same Pivot Simwanza who was a committee member in FAZ under Kalusha Bwalya’s administration and supplied replica (FONKONG) Chinese football kit to FAZ of which a fraud case is still active.

This man thinks he is so clever such that his names do not appear as a director of SUWILO GENERAL DEALER LIMITED and BRISUMAS INVESTMENTS LIMITED at PACRA or ZRA but his children. However, he is a signatory together with a wife to the company account at the bank account number 9130003164792 at First Alliance Bank in Ndola.
Early this year, he came and camped in Lusaka to connive with the Minister of Health and PS at the MOH to have his company SUWILO GENERAL DEALER LIMITED be awarded a contract to supply N-95 Masks at an inflated figure of ZWM 21,000,000.00 (twenty One Million Kwacha). He used 2 fake companies with exorbitant pricing to support his company SUWILO General Dealers to be on the lower side but with inflated amounts also.
There are specialized companies in Zambia that have always been supplying good quality PPE’s at reasonable price for years that were left out or did not know about the so called tender. What criteria did the ministry use to award the Contract to this company with questionable history? What is more surprising is the fact that he was given payment of the total contract amount before the contract was even signed and knowing for sure that this man is well known for non supplying of goods or supplying replica cheap stuff if at all.
Information has it that he does invoiced and gets paid without supplying the goods and if at all he supplies he does under resupplying the MOH with the goods that were donated to the MOH by the Chinese nationality Ma. There is a big cartel going at the MOH and DMMU. You need uncompromised competent people to investigate this. If you recall very well there was a complete shutdown in Zambia and how did he bring in the staff. Which border and ZRA port of entry and records did his company use?
In June this year he was showing off his company SUWILO GENERAL DEALERS bank account balance with FNB of K26 million. He claimed to have been awarded a contracted of US$1.8 million to supply PPE’s.
He recently bought a house in Lusaka near Parliament building conference for over ZMW 2,000,000.00 (Two Million Kwacha). He intends to demolish it and engage a contractor who built Nelkhanti Hotel in Lusaka. His companies has bank accounts with STANMBIC, FIRST NATIONAL BANK and FIRST ALLIANCE BANK in Ndola where some huge amounts of money has been wired from M*F.
He ordered 5 x 40ft containers full of spares and he opened an auto spare shop in Ndola town centre called BABA Auto spares and has been busy shopping cars like no mans business. He bought 2 x SUV’s(his and hers), a TOYOTA Hilux, a saloon car for the girl friend’s daughter. Just after a few months of camping here in Lusaka this year his companies bank accounts at FNB and First Alliance Bank in Ndola has received huge amounts of money from the M*F under instructions from MOH. He has been laundering money into his fellow crooked counterparts and their relatives. Trail the money from his bank account and you will see who is who in the zoo that has benefited.
In June this year he bought a farm near Luanshya Police road block along Luanshya-Masangano turn off road. He bought a house for a girl friend in Itawa in Mwasumina road, which he has partially demolished with the view to renovate it and built the girlfriend’s mother in Chifubu / Pamodzi.
This is the same man in 2017 who at one was given a contract with Kalusha Bwalya by the MOH during the cholera pandemic to supply dead people cholera body bags yet again at an inflated amount ZMW 14,000,000.00 (Fourteen Million Kwacha) under a company called BRISUMAS INVESTMENTS LIMITED. He was given a 25% upfront payment of which he used to under service the contract. Kalusha Bwalya was screwed on this contract as he got peanuts. He used part of Kalusha Bwalya’s share to buy his girl friend a TOYOTA HILUX- REGEND.
Currently he is again camping here in Lusaka trying to push for a payment ZMW21 million from the MOH via M*F. This payment is tied to a contract he got dubiously in June but never supplied the good. Three weeks ago he again pushed in tender documents for ZMW 34million at the MOH. As usually he pushed in 2 other fake companies to support his inflated quotation. Being the Watch Dog that I know you can dig dipper and discover more on this man.
I am sure with this information that I have availed you will dig dipper and bring these selfish rotten corrupt individuals out of the system that are making our public hospitals to deteriorate in terms of services by rooting and suffocating funds for essential drugs, goods and quality services in our hospitals.
Yours faithfully
