Spencer provided so much good feedback for the Young African Leaders Initiative Network course. As one of our student mentors in his gap year before starting college, we know he has a very bright future ahead of him.

Here is more of what he had to say about the YALI Network course: "Another lesson learnt is how to successfully resolve conflicts. We should practice active listening, give feedback constructively and avoid using words like 'should' instead use phrases like 'I recommend' or 'have you thought of'. Lastly, mentors are leaders but it is wise to consider ourselves as servant leaders, in doing so, our followers may feel more comfortable when communicating with us."
