A 72 year old man has defiled his 4 year old granddaughter in Chongwe.
Police in Chongwe are holding a man aged 72 after he defiled his own granddaughter after her mother left her on his care.

It was reported that the neighbors heard loud voice of the child crying that's how the break the door and found the old man having s*x with the child.
Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has confirmed the incidence.

A 5 year old girl of Shibali village in Chongwe Chilyabale area has been defiled by her uncle aged 59.
The incidence happened on Thursday the 17th of August when the child and her brother went to their uncle identified as Teddy Mwambuluma at the hummer Mill.
While at the hummer Mill the victim's brother went outside to play and the uncle took advantage of the child.
The child was only noticed at home by her mother when bathing the child her that she was bleeding from her private parts.
And the child was taken to Chilyabale clinic and the mother was advised to take the child to Chongwe district hospital for testing. That's how it was discovered that the child has been defiled.
It was then discovered that the child was with her uncle at the time of the incidence while her brother was playing outside.
The suspect is in police custody waiting to appear in court soon.
