The Story
The founders of Evolution records are Siyanda Myeni and Lungelo Ndlazi who are both still active artists in the music industry. They met at Mtubatuba in KwaZulu Natal and were instantly drawn to each other by the love of music. Through Lungelo being a DJ(DJ Lucia) and Siyanda being a rapper(Da Cease) ,most of the challenges that artists and Dj’s face were enough reasons for the two to decide on building something that would encourage good music and also give artists and Dj’s the credit that is due so then Evolution was formed. The change that happens in a very long time needed to happen in their era so they decided on being a media powerhouse rather than a simple Record label. The three things that drive this company are loyalty,passion and hope.
