Comedian Carvin H. Goldstone returns with hilarious new show

Renowned stand-up comedian Carvin H. Goldstone, one of Durban's most cherished entertainers, is set to return to the stage where it all began. In association with Tabloid Newspapers, Goldstone will perform his brand-new comedy show, "My New Debt Order", at the iZulu Theatre, Sibaya Casino, on Saturday, 21 December, and Sunday, 22 December.

After a year filled with challenges and hilarity, Goldstone brings his signature humour to topics that resonate with audiences across the board. The show delves into his personal journey of becoming a father again in his 40s, the trials and triumphs of In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), and the arrival of what he humorously dubs his "new debit order" – his newborn baby.

Goldstone also takes a witty look at the complexities of childbirth, parenting a teenager, the global political landscape under new leadership in South Africa and the United States, and the ever-rising cost of living as we move into 2025. Goldstone's comedy journey is nothing short of inspiring. It all started at Sibaya in 2006 when his colleagues encouraged him to enter a comedy competition. After just five performances, he won the title of comedy champion. Since then, he has risen to become an internationally acclaimed comedian, earning accolades such as South African Comedian of the Year (2018) and Best South African Comedy Show (2020). With four nominations for South Africa’s top comedy award, Goldstone continues to solidify his place as one of the country's leading comedic talents.

The show will take place at the iZulu Theatre, Sibaya Casino, located at 1 Sibaya Drive, Umhlanga Rocks, Durban. The performances are scheduled for Saturday, 21 December 2024, at 8pm and Sunday, 22 December, at 4pm. Tickets are priced at R200 per person and are available via Webtickets.

Join Goldstone for an unforgettable evening of laughter and insight as he takes you on a comedic journey through life’s quirks and realities. Don't miss it!
