Cheers! To a very beautiful and insightful weekend by the MYCs crew and their youth facilitator Mila. This weekend the team was working on a very educational workshop with Radio workshop which is an organization that trains youth across Africa to make radio and podcasts. Thry provide the tools and teach the skills. They work on uplifting creativity, local knowledge, and passion for tackling the issues that matter to the youth and their communities.
Founded in 2006 as the Children’s Radio Foundation, they have trained over 5,000 youth reporters at more than 100 radio stations in 10 countries in Africa, reaching up to 9 million listeners weekly.
We were blessed to be part of such a great project and get trained by Sam who's part of the team. Mthatha youth commitment is now looking forward to bringing you even more amazing shows! More education! More fun! And most of all we are ready to be the advocates for change!
Stay tuned for some interesting shows and amazing competitions, community programs and so much more!

Females are generally expected to dress in typically a feminine way and be polite, accomodating and nurturing, Men are genrally expected to be strong, aggresive and bold and not cry.
Do you think these stereotypes and gender roles are relevant in the times we live in?

Share your view and tune in to the show tomorrow because your VOICE is our JOY!!!!!❤️✌️

“As a disabled man, let my life be a reflection of the endless amount of ability that exists in each and everyone of us.”
— Robert M. Hensel
As people we can achieve amazing things, and having a disability doesn’t stop you achieving that. Join us this week as we encourage the equality amongst people including disabled people. We need to stop feeling pitty and thinking low of disabled people because they also have the power ansd the ability to do it all, as the legend Stevie Wonder says, "just because a man lacks the use of his eyes doesn’t mean he lacks vision".
Comment your view or story with us now or send your vn to 0660705552 on how you or a person you know living with any disability was discriminated and made to feel less of a person. Your voice, is our joy!
