Tshepiso Matekoane is a South African rapper versatile artist and a songwriter also a producer, known as ‘T-LayRxp$’. he was born in Free State, Velkom and grew up in Cape Town. Now he’s currently living in a small township called Strand , Started making music in 2019 , he was born on the 1st Of February 2009. T-Lay became inspired by Yanga Chief , Nasty C & Casper Nyovest. he’s an artist in ‘WestSid3 Beatz Ent’

At the age of 8, T-LayRxp$ had developed a strong passion for music – he started rapping with his old friends in a phone microphone. then in 2019 his Big Brother Bhut’Trigger moved from FreeState to Western Cape that’s how T-LayRxp$ started being so serious in music journey his big brother took him to Studio to record a song with high quality and help T-Lay to distribute his music on music platforms in 2019. Then time goes in 2022 T-Lay’s big brother started opening His own studio for him and T-Lay to work full time. Is an amazing thing T-LayRxp$ produce beats of all his songs and his big brother is his Vocal Producer also a management.

In 2020 he released his first single titled ‘Lucky dayz’ featuring his brother [Bhut’Trigger] , T-Lay has been dropping hits after hits – and the songs mostly got viral is ‘Ayilobali’ & ‘Ndintswempu’, these songs changed his music life cause he gained more followers on social platforms and got more supporters/fans.

In 2024 he was nominated as the best male Artist, and his song ‘Ndintswempu’ was nominated as The best song of The Year to name a few categories because of his greatness , he only won the award for ‘The best Music Video of the year’ for his big song [Ndintswempu]. T-LayRxp$ His one of the best artists that you should look out for, he is definitely the next big thing
