💪 This season, we’re proud to announce that our lifeguards on duty are all local heroes from the WC024! They are graduates of the Stellenbosch Municipality’s Mayoral Youth Skills Development Programme in Life Saving—a testament to our commitment to youth empowerment.

🎟 Entry Fees:

Children under 5: Free (must be accompanied by an adult)
Children 6–17: R7.00
Adults: R13.50
Pensioners: R9.50

We believe congratulations are in order?

Today, at a Special Council Meeting held in the Stellenbosch Town Hall, Councillor Jeremy Fasser was elected as the new Executive Mayor of Stellenbosch Municipality, following the retirement of outgoing Mayor Advocate Gesie van Deventer.

Mayor Fasser brings with him a wealth of experience, having served in numerous leadership roles within the Municipality. Over the years, he has served as a PR Councillor, Ward Councillor, and in various capacities on the Mayoral Committee, including Deputy Executive Mayor, Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Finance, MMC for Human Settlements, MMC for Youth, Sport and Culture, and MMC for Protection Services. This extensive portfolio of experience has equipped him with the skills and insight to lead the Municipality into its next chapter.

🚨Made in the Cape Returns, 3 - 6 March 2025

Wesgro's Made in the Cape initiative aims to promote local products in new and existing export markets. This will connect buyers from around the world with local producers.

The initiative was first launched in 2022 with 115 registered exporters showcasing 600 products. Within one year the platform grew to 924 exporters showcasing over 4000 Western Cape products! If you have a product and would like to showcase it to an international customer base, register to be part of the 2025 programme.
