When I was younger (maybe even still) my mom would get mad at me for various reasons but one main thing was that she believed I allowed people to walk over and take advantage of me.
I think at times this was true yes, but that’s another story.
Most of the time I knew that I am giving others too much or having “too much grace” but I believed that if I loved through it that it would be worth it at the end.

I’m gonna try to keep this short to not waste your time.
To cut to the chase, I found that loving others through everything that life can throw at us, bitterness, gossip, pain, loss of a loved one, anxiety etc.- loving through all of this is the only choice that will enable us to walk in the life Jesus has called us to.
At times I know that I do not feel like loving right now because we are human and life is tough, but there has never been a moment that I have ever regretted loving- I have only regretted when I choose the opposite
