Work to restore power will be undertaken with the intention of restoring power to the affected area.

Planned RW maintenance: 59 Hours shutdown
The planned maintenance from Rand Water to tie in the new M9 pipeline to the existing system from 26 May 2023 at 18:00 until 29 May 2023 at 05:00 has reference.
Affected CoE reservoirs:
Rietfontein, KwaThema, Palmbrink, Persida, Selcourt, Masechaba, Visagie Park, Sharon Park, Dunnotar and Duduza

The city will provide 2 metered filling points at Springs and Brakpan for industries to fill up using their own tankers. The Chief Engineers can be contacted for further details.
THE ESTIMATED RECOVERY OF THE AFFECTED AREAS WILL BE 3-5 DAYS AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE PLANNED MAINTENANCE WORK.
