28 Records is a label that was started by Papi Diretse also known as Snivas Sanchez who is a Producer & Sound Engineer who has recorded the likes of thandiswa mazwai simphiwe dana winnie mashaba to name a few. The reason to start 28 Records was to produce and release our own music. We noticed that theres a lot of talent that needs to be exposed but only few music producers are willing to go out,

scout a talent and expose it. Our aim is to spot/scout talent, produce and expose them to the world, not just South Africa. For now we focusing on House, Contemporary Gospel, Lounge and World Music

The projects that we've worked on, we've released a single by Khensani Makama titled Masambeni a Contemporary Gospel song which is now available on iTunes and other digital stores , we also got a single by Slick titled Move On Up which is a deep house song, also available on iTunes and other digital store. Both of these singles are the first singles for both artists under 28 Records.
