http://youtu.be/pNiz8IE3deo FREE VIDEO !!! Selfmade SA is a mainstream music group and a brand that initially consisted of 3 founding members namely Simphiwe aka Spijo , Linda and Kagiso Mosweu aka Young C who is the group’s producer and Co-owner of Selfmade SA Records which
he owns with partner Mr. Now the group has four members including RnB and Neo soul singer by the name of Lebo who joined the team early 2013. All members of the group come from JHB Dobsonville Soweto the group was formed in 2010 mid-term now they work under an independent stable called Selfmade SA Records. Kagiso who is also the member of the group had a plan to bring artists who do different types of music together to create a unique sound which will capture audience attention without a doubt. In 2011 the group released a self titled CD [Selfmade Vol.1] and have not looked back since then and recently finisahed working on their second E.P Disc due for release 2014 called AKULALWA. Not only do the guys do music but they host events called Mjojo Sound Sessions and Selfmade Hip Hop nights and individually have qualities that set them apart from other groups and they all good authors and song writters, one member Spijo is an actor and a kwaito musician, Lebo the female Soulful vocalist is a model, Linda designs clothing, Raps and is a founder of Mjojo Clothing, Kagiso Young C composes and arranges music for the groupas well sings, raps he has worked with many Artists in studio where production is concerned he is also responsible for running the events the group are doing as part of art growth in townships, Mr. John Hene is co-owner of the company he is also well known as Coffee C. The group has performed at Soweto Festival 3 years in a row, We toured Limpopo Independently without sponsor and did interviews with local radio stations, Toured Durban twice during their tour in 2011 & 2012, in July 2012 they Toured performed at other corporate events like the Re-opening of the Joburg City Library after the renovation 2012, Selfmade SA also performed at the Annual Canser Fundraising Events out in Albeton , we were part of MTN promotion campaign in 2012 to name a few activities and have had media coverage from local TV Stations like , Sedibeng TV , Flava TV online channel, Magazines like South African Airways Mag called Juice which is mostly read by people who fly overseas and newspaper interviews where they got coverage on the good work they doing with their event for community upliftment . The Self made SA team is a very small circle made up of loyal talented individual, The company has other artists like Mbali , Double X , DJ Trata , Double X released his CD 2010 produced by Kagiso, Bongani aka Ndela who is also on the come up, Lebo is also our female artists. The main idea behind the events was to equip people with the knowledge of to become a Brand by implementing & taking responsibility of their own music and future Too young men Kagiso Mosweu Young C and Linda Mhluzi who ought to make it life through Arts and Culture, music and fashion design enables young stars from various backgrounds it being good or bad to unleash their true abilities and express emotions in a less aggressive manner or form. The sessions assist everyone who has the passion in what they do & gives youth the opportunity to find their inner self!!!!!! As a team we can conquer many things in life so members , a dream team to help in reaching in terms our getting the word out to relevant people who would have interest in the idea so the events started getting recognition from business owners like Tebogo Phiri owner of Disoufeng Pub & Morris who owns Morris pub. When Morris lounge came on board later initially, Disoufeng lounge/PUB showed interest & decided to come on board too. Our first shows where held at DOROTHY NYEMBE PARK in Dobsonville. The group has since performed in Limpopo, Soweto Festival, Soweto TV Tours, Durban, Tembisa, Alexandra, All over Soweto as well .Venda and did radio interview at Makhado FM & Phalaphala FM. , After a series of events since we started events in May 2011. We shared stages with many artists and worked many in the industry like Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rick, Mzambia who is an established kwaito superstar and an inspiration to young upcoming artists, Maggz, Pale from 999 Records their latest soul artist, Kay E, GP Gangsta, Siya Shezi, Neo Beats, Omen, Sbuda P, Skwatta Kamp members Flabba and Nemza as well as a few more unlisted people and glad to say we have also hosted all the mentioned guys in our events. The group is releasing the new single in May 2014 titled AKULALWA. This is project they have been working on since 2013 now the project is ready for release on iTUNES and stores around SA. Produced by YOUNG C the record is smash and will take the market by storm
