We always advice our Script-writing Students to open production companies and have the proceeds from their films go directly into their accounts.
As a writer, after you register a company, the next step is to find a producer. A producer is not necessarily someone with money, but it's a person who can hire a good crew for you, organize your shooting, secure funds for your scripts and understand the market and distribution on your behalf.

That's where we come in. Film Garden was founded to give upcoming talent a chance. We develop their skills and we shoot our own films with up coming talent for them to gain experience, have something to write on their CVs and to have showreels to showcase their talent to agencies and productions.

The rest of the month we shoot monologues and short films. We also help our actors to look for and get acting jobs. Q. What can I expect from the acting classes? A. Day 1: We give you a script to read so that we can test and know how you interpret a script. (This is done to find out how much you know, so that we know how much to teach you.) Day 2: You will be given a script to read at home as an assignment. Day 3: You present what you learnt and then we rehearse for shooting. Day 4: We shoot acting classes. Day 5: We sign actors under our acting agency which will brand or re-brand them amongst other benefits.
