DJ Maphorisa took Samthing Soweto's song. Like Prince Kaybee, the talentless DJ Maphorisa allegedly took Samthing Soweto's song and mixed it.

'Amalanga Awafani', which was released today without crediting Samthing Soweto. It's heartbreaking to see Samthing Soweto going through this.

Meanwhile, the talentless DJ Maphorisa continues to benefit from his work.

Fans in South Africa are calling for a boycott of the song 'Amalanga Awafani', which was released today.

The issue is that Samthing Soweto was not credited in the song no consultation ,no payment , despite his vocals being featured.

The song, produced by DJ Maphorisa and featuring Mas Musiq and Lawd Weezy, has sparked tension on social media.

DJ Maphorisa's career of exploiting artists needs to end. We can't stand by and watch; he needs to learn the hard way.

Macgyver Mukwevho, widely known as MacG, is a well-known South African radio DJ and house music producer. From 2000 to 2005, MacG presented a youth programme on etv called Craze. He eventually left television to pursue his radio career full time and in 2006, He moved to a Gauteng based radio station YFM – where he hosted a variety of shows from the graveyard slot on weekends to the Top. His popularity rose significantly when he started hosting the early morning show during weekdays and later the lunchtime show also on weekdays. Since 2010 he has been at Joburg’s no 1 hit music station, 947, where he hosts weeknights 10pm-01am and a dance show on Saturday 6-9pm called the 947 Bloc Party.

MacG is known for heating up dance floors with house and dance music at the biggest events around South Africa. His successes landed him the opportunity to tour Africa with MTV Base performing in Angola, Mozambique. He also played at the after party of the first ever MTV African Music Awards in Nigeria, leaving the fun-loving locals in awe. MacG has toured South Africa extensively and has shared the DJ Booth with international and local DJ’s, including DJ Diplo, Afrojack, David Guetta, Black Coffee, DJ Fresh, Euphonik and Louie Vega amongst others. When he’s not on air, in studio or at one of his many gigs. MacG enjoys relaxing to a good old game of FIFA while listening to the radio.

Sjava has set a release date for his upcoming body of work “Isibuko,” which has been pre-ordered and will be available on January 27th, 2023.

The rapper has not revealed much about the type of music his fans can expect or whether the project will include any notable features. Ruff took to Twitter to tease what South African hip hop fans can expect.

This came after one of Ruff’s followers stated that they are hoping to see A-Reece, EMTee Da hustler and Saudi featured on the forthcoming album. “I’m more than ready for this one 🥺💥💥, I just hope
EMteeRecords's Diary & are also featured on this one together with A-Reece!”

Ruff’s response unequivocally confirmed that the aforementioned artists will be on Sjava’s album. The well-known producer provided confirmation in his prior tweet. “They are featured on this one ‼️” Tweeted Ruff.

Godfrey Mahlangu Born on the 3rd of June 1987 in Mpumalanga. The son of Pastor Mahlangu and Leah Skosana, he is the 3rd child in a family of 10 children and recently relocated to the Soshanguve suburbs.

Godfrey was one of the Awards Nominee for “Best New Comer” in 2011 and a SACRA Award winner for “Best Gospel” in 2013 for his latest album “Abantu bakho Nkosi” released in 2012. He did a duet with Rebecca Malope on her latest album and also worked alongside Sfiso Ncwane, Sipho Makhabane, Donny, Winnie Mashaba, Brain Temba and many more. His latest album “Abantu Bakho Nkosi” was released in the year 2012 and worked with Sizwe Zakho as songwriter and composer and Gloria Bosman as the vocal coach.

Godfrey Mahlangu had been best known lead vocalist in Tshwane Gospel Choir (TGC). He is an International Artist 1st Solo Artist from TGC performing nationwide, Amsterdam, Dubai, Liverpool, England, Botswana and Zimbabwe and his recent activities in Europe representing South African gospel music at the Fringe Festival every year to showcase his talent.

A brand Ambassador for Gospel Heat magazine and also the Outreach program where he is a brand ambassador to the “Sign Language” campaign raising awareness in churches and the community about deaf community and finding ways to learn sign language in the community. Fund raising to train certified interpreters in different churches in the community.
