The office of the Speaker, Cllr MR Nkoane in partnership with SASSA encourages the grant recipients who could not manage to transit from the SASSA's gold card by the 20th March deadline to visit the Post Offices to be assisted with the card transition.

Vergenoeg Mine Helps Local Schools

Vergenoeg Mine is working to improve the lives of people in DR JS MOROKA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY
Recently, the mine donated science lab equipment to five local schools:
DIGWALE,
SIVUMELENE,
RAHLAHANA,
SEABE,
and KHAMANE Secondary Schools.

The mine wants to help students do better in math and science

It hopes that by providing this equipment, students will be inspired to pursue careers in these fields

The mine also offers scholarships to students who want to work in the mining industry

Mr. L Ngobe, from Vergenoeg Mine, said, "We want to help students become engineers, water specialists, and other professionals who can improve our community's infrastructure."

The Executive Mayor, Cllr NS Mtsweni, thanked the mine for its support

He encouraged the schools to take good care of the equipment and to use it to improve their students' results

Everyone involved is grateful for the mine's donation and looks forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the community
