Lightning strikes tree in General Kemp Street

A tree came crashing down, blocking the road, when lightning struck it at 30 General Kemp Street this evening, January 8, at around 18:30.

Local residents are attempting to move the tree that is completely across the road.

A resident was stationed in his vehicle at the gates entrance when the tree was struck.

The vehicle window is broken out.

Thankfully no one was injured.
