Okay guys here is a very important update!

This was a very challenging year to Becky Casting Agency as a company and Bekezela Dube as a person.
It is never easy to face an attack that aims to destroy your company and survive it.

The sad reality is that Becky casting represents people who are actors, meaning that the actors we represents are Becky casting itself.

Therefore if anyone is attacking me as a person but targeting Becky casting, that person is attacking any member of the agency.

We invested to a project that we later did not complete because of attacks that still left people stranded, there is no miracles to be expected as an outcome to everyone. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THEY WILL ALSO SEE THEMSELVES ON TELEVISION NEXT YEAR EVEN THOUGH IT NEARLY COST US OUR COMPANY.

The saddest part is that a stressed business that still fought to survive had to stress most of its members although we kept on working with other production companies smoothly.

Going forward Becky casting agency will not be representing extras or background actors anymore .We understand that this decision will affect many people who were surviving under such opportunities but we unfortunately have to grow in the industry.

After the event of background we had with a certain production company we understand that there is over 10 associations representing background actors while they don't even book them .It is yet another strategy to make money, in the long run a fee will be charged each of these individuals , even if each individual pays R50 or less if you multiply that by 100ds of people definitely the associations will make a lot of money from people's missery.

Easpecialy the members of Becky Casting who were dispatched during the unfortunate event we had in April.The database was huge almost 1000 people or more, so for someone who just met so much people and cost them an opportunity by promising empty promises that did not even materialize and also making me look bad by playing heroes after making sure we all lost an opportunity which they still couldn't offer back but rather saw an opportunity to make money by forming an association claiming to protect people from us that provide them with opportunities while they got nothing to offer is very sad.

Well, to wrap up this long story we also created an association to protect anyone in the industry from being bullied by those who claim to be industry gurus.The association is recognized by government so we are safe.

Becky casting will only represent from features, cameo to leading roles for both adverts , international films and local soapies.
