ho struggle with relating to their peers in social environments. At ROCK-STAR GUITAR ACADEMY we believe that through music, confidence is built and friendships are formed. Each guitar lesson is aimed at facilitating a change in each student’s life in a positive and inspiring way. My aim is to use the powerful medium of music to not only teach a student a new skill or improve a skill a learner is interested in,but to use this opportunity to instil lifelong morals and values, for example self-discipline. Through my teaching experience which included tutoring students from all ages, I have realised how much they have come to mean to me and how much they have inspired me. Most of all I came to the conclusion that, my purpose is to awaken each individual students potential, for them to achieve what they set out to and for them to feel fulfilled and worthy. Music is a priceless gift which is delivered through a universal song. It touches people, regardless of age or race. It is a gift which will enrich every students’ life and then –furthermore- through them, the world that we live in. When I teach music, my main goal and number one motivation is to nurture students to think creatively, to improvise and to find ways to express who they are in diverse, complex and integrated ways.
