Word of Today
John 8:12:

"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'" - John 8:12 (NIV)

In this verse, Jesus declares Himself to be the light of the world, offering hope and guidance to all who follow Him. Just as light illuminates our physical path, Jesus' presence in our lives illuminates our spiritual journey, helping us navigate life's challenges and uncertainties.

When we follow Jesus, we are promised that we will never walk in darkness. This means that we will never be alone, lost, or without direction. Instead, we will have the light of life, which is Jesus Himself. This light brings:

"For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13 (NLT)
