Welcome to another , today we want to help managers or supervisors with tips on how you can better handle the people you are leading. There is nothing more important than using every tool in your arsenal to ensure you succeed and reach your goals.

1. Probationary Period - Use it or lose it!
This is your best opportunity to review and evaluate a new employee's ability to be successful in the position.

2. Put the value back in evaluations.
Performance Evaluations should be viewed as an important management communication tool.

3. Walk the Walk.
If you expect good attendance, performance and conduct from your employees, make sure that your attendance, performance and conduct sets the example.

4. You get what you reward.
Acknowledge and reward good performance. Don't limit your feedback to criticism and corrections.

5. Consistency is essential.
Strive to treat all your employees the same with regard to expectations, privileges, and exceptions.

The weekend is almost upon us. We hope that your week has been going well and you have managed to reach your goals. There is still tomorrow if you haven't quite gotten there yet.

Today on we want to talk about various HR innovations you might not know about. The HR industry is constantly evolving and there are new ways of doing things every day. Let's look at some of these innovations.

1. Text-to-apply
Text recruiting is an underused form of recruiting that companies might want to look into. Text to apply essentially provides your company with a text phone number that walks job seekers through a text-to-hire job application.

Candidates provide their contact information and answer pre-screening job questions and even schedule an interview. You can text back and forth with the candidate thereafter.

2. Hybrid Workplace Design
The workspace is changing. How employees interact with the workplace is changing and companies need to change with them. Offering a hybrid workplace design that allows employees the flexibility to choose when they come to work and where they work from wherever they are is important. This model could see an increase in productivity in your company.

3. Personalized on-the-go learning through technology
Too often companies still have a one-size-fits-all approach to learning which doesn't cut it in a changing environment. 1. Detailed Job Descriptions
This is key to employing the right people for the positions available. It's truly worth its weight in gold to have a detailed job description. It helps you attract the right talent and also manages the expectations of candidates.

2. Well Written Contracts of Employment
As a business, make sure that every contract of employment for all your employees is fit for purpose. The terms and conditions must protect you and the employee and be extensive to not leave room for problems later.

3. Have an Employee Handbook
It is important that every employee have a handbook of the company policies and procedures. This is so that they know what to do when something happens. Make sure it is always up to date.

4. Outsource Payroll
Of course, you can do this in-house but outsourcing has so many benefits. Using someone external means they won't be bothered by who gets paid what or about discretionary benefits. If you ask someone in-house no matter how trusted they are, they may end up using that info against you.

5. Use Technology
