Rhyzo Records strive to forever change and grow with the music industry by bringing unheard sounds set not only to entertain but to inspire audiences. Rhyzo Records was founded in 2003 by Thomas Ngwato (MrToms) while he was in Grade 9. The Company was first called “Tomfrey’s production” before later being changed to Rhyzo Records. ew. The label consists of artists as well as a management department which together play a significant role. At this point Rhyzo has four artists whom are working and recording under the label. They are Nathaniel Moshupye aka KiloGram, Fredrick Masemola aka MagStar, Miclaas Maaipiyo aka Mitlo and Tshepo Brian Moshidi aka Tshepa Tshepo. KiloGram and MagStar form a two men duo called Toxic Venom, while Mitlo and Tshepa Tshepo are known as Rural Bones. The two crews came together to work on the first Rhyzo records project titled "Rise Of The Rhyzo". The mixtape took a better part of 3 years to complete and, Untouchables and Kgaola Tshele were the first singles released from the mixtape, online. During the conception of the tape Rhyzo has had a chance to perform some of their hit songs at many local events and also have had opportunities to share their craft with the masses outside of PTA. They have blessed events such as Annual Maftown swag festival, Cappello’s Turn-Up Thursday, Europa's Tuesday Hip Hop nights and The Only Reason tour just to name a few. The company focuses on incorporating different elements of music into an uncompromised original sound. The production of beats and artist recordings are produced in-house by MrToms at the Mamelodi based studio. However, the material is mastered outside of the company. Rhyzo Records CEO: Thomas Ngwato
