Stop Harassing Musicians Based on Looks - Plateau PMAN Tells Police

The Plateau State chapter of the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has urged the Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Adesina, to put an end to the harassment of musicians over their appearance or hairstyles.

In a letter, PMAN Governor Comrade Color Humphrey Iroegbu voiced concerns about the increasing cases of musicians being singled out due to their unique fashion choices. He labeled the actions as discriminatory and warned that PMAN might take legal steps if the issue isn’t resolved.

Iroegbu called on the police to focus on real threats and respect individual rights. He also advised musicians to carry their PMAN ID cards and stay alert.

PMAN remains committed to protecting its members, ensuring they can continue enriching Plateau State’s culture without fear of being targeted.
