Our Story

Afri Live Stream is a new, dynamic venture Gauteng based production company that was formed with the idea of bringing sport, events and news to the public in a more accessible manner than previously. Afri Live Stream makes use drone technologies together with cellular bonding units as well as satellite to broadcast the Cinderella events (non-televised events) to the public that would not enjoy the television exposure that any other events do.

We have already achieved a lot on the local & international broadcasting stage. Locally here in South Africa, Afri Live has already become a company of choice when it comes to adventure sport live streaming and broadcasting.

Our team combined has more than 35 years’ experience in broadcasting. Afri Live Stream, as a team, is proud to say that we can broadcast an event globally to many devices like a smart phone, tablet, desktop computer, laptop or even a smart television. Our broadcasts can be viewed worldwide to any viewer with sufficient broadband signal. With our Outside Broadcast units we can be ready to stream and broadcast from any venue or area within minutes of arrival.

We have been working together for over 4 years to perfect Live Streaming and now we believe we are ready to take Live Streaming of Sport and major events to the next level.

We have been exploring the Live Streaming opportunity in South Africa and realized the potential for a sustainable business and job creation together with skill development. After years of research and planning, We are in constant discussion with SuperSport and some other broadcasters to dedicate a channel to Live Streaming the content of all Olympic type and School Sport etc. We are also in discussions with the newly appointed 15+ broadcast STB (Set Top Box) license holders with regards to supporting them with a variety of content.

With the relationships that we have formulated in various sport sectors over the years, there are many schools, universities and sporting bodies that are interested in the Live Streaming of events like Netball, Rugby, Soccer, Hockey, Ice-Hockey, Athletics, Golf, Bodybuilding, together with Motorsport, Motorbike Racing, MTB and Road Cycling, Road Running, Conferences, Concerts, Air Shows (to mention a few)………. that are being planned for the 2016 Afri Live Streaming Calendar.

Live streaming is an essential marketing tool and offers broader advertising opportunities for sponsors and sparked a great interest amongst many sponsors and event organisers.
